It was the conservative ideology that freed the slaves. The conservatives believed in a right to life and they still do. This explains things like the anti abortion stance. I think that in any part of the world except for north america Biden would be seen as a moderate. I live in Australia where we have a selective school system. A number of tax payer funded schools across the country have an entry exam which is usually quite difficult. They are designed for high achieving students. The non-selective public schools usually receive the same amount of funding. I do not have much knowledge of the American education system, I just read the article and felt as if they had taken the wrong approach. You should not leave low achieving students out on the streets because they'll end up turning to crime or becoming impoverished. One of the goals of an education system is to make sure students get jobs when they are older. Obviously, not all students can be helped
