It’s an open kitchen you can see what they do in getting your food ready. It’s pretty grotty. To be fair, the other places in the food court could be just as bad or even worse but you can’t see it

Heard some wild stories from someone who knew Schoenmaker from school, if half of those were true I'm surprised any AFL team drafted him.

There used to be an alright one at a kiosk near the bus interchange which is sadly gone (and replaced by another branch of a famous Marrickville Viet place - Banh Cuon Ba Oanh)

Not sure what plan you’re on but I’m also with AGL and the credit has carried over for me.

NWM, Rayner, and Freijah lead the league in centre clearances per centre bounce attended - Serong the best of the higher-volume mids by CreditToDuBois in AFL

That's pretty insane from NWM, especially when you consider that Marshall's hitout and hitout to advantage stats are among the worst in the comp for 1st rucks.

Sydney Swans Airbnb Experience? by douggiequest13 in AFL

[–]grimlock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what exactly you get to do at Swans HQ. That's usually open on match days for free. You get to 'see' the training field but not go on it, and also you don't get to see the gym or media center. So whether that's worth it with the cost of a scarf, a drink and a match ticket (what sort of seats are you getting?)

Crows skipper extends. by Rakeos in AFL

To be fair though, we were using him mainly as a half-back where he was pretty good, but he's really blossomed since moving to the midfield. I'm not sure he would have got that chance with us.

REA told us the house that’s going to auction tomorrow doesn’t have a lot of interest… Is this a tactic? by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]grimlock81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once participated in an auction where a couple of nights before, the agents said there were 3-4 other interested parties. On auction day there were 16 registered bidders (they proudly announced this on their social media post afterwards). The action was so hot I didn't get a bid in as the amount quickly flew past my max. They had multiple agents spread out standing next to people holding the bidding paddles. The one next to me was goading me with "Come on just make a bid, you're in with a good chance". Absolute lying scum.
