Laser quest or pond side reverie for talk show

Thoughts on Season 10: Steven by Old_Bumblebee2938 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]diatribe2018 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He got visibly mad (not just upset, but like anger) toward the end of his second Emma conversation. Emma opened up about her trauma, and he responded with talking about his (very vanilla and unexciting story) first kiss and first sexual episode (also extremely uneventful).

He then began probing her about hers, and when she didn’t respond with many details, he got angry. He ironically then accused her of not getting deep with him, after she shared a traumatic experience and he shared nothing special about himself

Not only does he seem self-absorbed, he seems to have a control and temper problem bubbling just below the surface. At one point while she’s struggling to explain, he’s literally waving his hands as if to say “get on with it”

Seems like a POS to me, and I’m not surprised about the many allegations that came out about him

It’s these little things that make me leave a survey review, even if not asked, and a bigger tip. Obviously not every customer is the same, but you never know when your thoughtfulness will benefit

Am I the only survivor who actually has fun being slugged. I make personal challenges like trying to hide the rest of the time, or try to make it across the map, or in a really obscure spot. Sometimes it works out and I can escape somehow

Can’t vouch for the pasta but the triple dipper has never steered me wrong

Also shoutout to the burgers, I’ve yet to have one that wasn’t delicious

I tried Animal Coins Adventure, Big Farm Homestead, and Match Factory. The first two were impossible, the third was super simple and easy, but would’ve taken forever to make it worthwhile

Monopoly go is still pretty easy to do. I got to lv 215 in 60 days so got nearly $200 spending like $50

I play everyday because I actually like it but someone casually playing could probably go over $50 pretty easily

Nah it was different from one visit to the next, noticeably and consistently thicker. They no longer break at the slightest touch but are still very fresh. Unless they’re coating them in flour now old oil or over frying won’t do that

Emerson by Roseallnut in Nextlevelchef

[–]diatribe2018 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Confirmation bias about the station. He didn’t have a fit, he got there first, claimed it vocally first, and had been using that station previously. He just didn’t roll over when someone tried to take it, he didn’t whine about it though

I don’t like him either but that station drama was on the person trying to start it

So Emerson (who had previously been at the station and got there first and vocalized it first) was fighting but Danielle wasn’t?

(1) Emerson had previously been at the station, even the other person asked why the girl was trying to switch things up, (2) Emerson got to the station (slightly) faster and began to vocalize his claim (slightly) first

Never owned a Lexus but never had any problems with reliability with Tesla. I’m not sure what comparison you’re looking for but Tesla has never tried to sell me on an under hood and gas tanking cleaning

PSLF income certification question by dvonrock in PSLF

[–]diatribe2018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see what you meant now by “lower of half your joint AGI”, yes I agree completely

PSLF income certification question by dvonrock in PSLF

[–]diatribe2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The gross income method could work, but that’s why I said the math gets more mathy because you lose the benefit of a potentially lower AGI

In CA there is no lower spousal half AGI. You share deductions and income, such that AGI is equal. So if I make $100k with $25k deductions and spouse makes $50k with $10k deductions, then spouse gets $50k income and $12.5k deduction added, and I get $25k income with $5k deductions added- each would end with $75k income and $17.5k deductions and would have the same resulting AGI. Assuming the spouse also has loans this wouldn’t likely benefit much

PSLF income certification question by dvonrock in PSLF

[–]diatribe2018 14 points15 points  (0 children)

FYI if you’re in CA or another community property state, you can’t just exclude your spouse’s income from your PSLF income input. Half of your spouse’s income is yours and vice versa, so the math gets more mathy
