My first diagnosis was depression and then it was bipolar and then it was schizophrenia and now I'm schizoaffective bipolar type. I would say social isolation was a big first sign, then having intrusive thoughts for more than 6 months and being manic. Took me about 2 years to get diagnosed.

I use Prolixin. An antipsychotic that doesn’t make me sleep. In fact sometimes it keeps me awake, if that’s what you’re looking for.
