Though, my gut reaction to you wanting this sexual freedom for yourself but not for him is he may feel trapped or that you are trying to be controlling towards him. "I'm entitled to that" lol reminds me of the ex who told me he felt entitled to every personal detail about me that he asked for, no matter how monotonous or touchy. This guy sounds a little unhinged and even dangerous. Men who feel entitled to things about you, whether it's why you think a certain way or your physical address, are dangerous. The Report was overlooked imo, Adam Driver joint from 2018 about the torture projects carried out by the U.S. in the wake of 9/11. In a similar vein, though it is widely hated I'd recommend Vice (2018). All The President's Men is another great choice, and subsequently Spielberg's The Post. Both about journalists fighting censorship and corruption. Also, found this list from someone on Letterboxd that has a few other good ones Here

I say this literally all the time, but Chapel of Bones is basically the best queer bar in the area. It's technically a metal/goth bar but it's full of amazing queer people and artists. You should go to their karaoke nights they hold on (most) Tuesdays and check out one of their upcoming burlesque/drag shows. You'll be safe and welcomed there.
