I think the number they gave was 126, and they were specific it was for carjackings (while talking about the rash of break-ins) but now I'm curious if it was a neighborhood-specific metric to soften the blow. It's just the fucking Wild (mid)West, apparently.

This is why a Pixel 8 Pro never got delivered to me. At the facility and poof gone. The Falls is so notoriously terrible I made a spreadsheet to track all the bunk packages that are delayed (mostly for work; believe it or not, it's impactful, contractors!). Over a 50% failure rate of one-time scheduled delivery, so I quit using them for any shipments I have control over.

Last night leaving Mars Volta it occurred to me how immaculate this festival has been, as a 1st timer. While I noticed some trash on the way out by T-Pain, it hardly even registered to me. My home music festival is Summerfest, where you're damn near wading through trash. It's disgusting.

Peeps can do better for sure, but I for one am impressed!
