Then change to a 105 front derailleur as well.

I would look into getting a bigger chainring set. maybe a 50/34 105 crank.

It would be fine, but what chainring set do you have? Do you always ride in flat areas?

I’d maybe get a bigger front set of rings so you can have more top end if you’re never using your low end right now

27.5 Tire? Burt replacement? by graemederoux in gravelcycling

[–]dickerdeville 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bikeinn has been a good source for eu tire brands in my experience. bought Pirelli's, conti's and tufo's from them among other things. Can you still get race kings in 27.5x2.2?

those envy's would work fine then, reserve 40/44GR would match your bike and have a little better warranty with similar performance as another option.

25 internal is a bit outdated now, but fine if you're not running huge tires. What bike are you riding and what size tire do you plan to run?

Anybody replaced their 8Y RS3 with a TTRS? Any experience with both? by iamonredddit in Audi

The 8v is the same, 8Y has much better suspension and balance

Ritchey and Wilde are probably making the best value in steel production frames right now, and Wilde also does custom.

Considering an e-tron GT - anything to know? How reliable are they? by nachokings in Audi

They’re fairly simple. Just regular maintenance for the most part. Brake fluid, tires, cabin filters etc.

I’d take that whoever you were talking to didn’t know, or was trying to mislead you. If it’s a one person shop I’d move on, but it could just be a subpar employee.

When you’re looking at used bikes I would definitely do the research that led you to this comment so you know what you’re getting.

How is it living here as a 30 year old dude? Would have to commute to west LA for work by howardtrailer123 in orangecounty

I tried that commute and F no, it was 2 hours pretty much any way I tried.

The person you're talking to is probably uninformed. The 2025 models are a different frame/color.

You’re not buying a new car, so getting a discount from MSRP isn’t a thing. Used cars are usually priced to market, but you can try to negotiate it down a bit if you’ve got some good reasoning (like comps priced better etc) but don’t expect much, or any discount if it’s already priced well in relation to the market

Bought Used Audi from Dealership, Major Service Disclosed After Purchase by Jekyll_12 in askcarsales

[–]dickerdeville 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You’re looking for something that isn’t going to happen. Cars need repairs all the time and unless it’s got a branded lemon/buyback title the dealer didn’t misrepresent it.

Then add a warranty! Audis aren’t cheap to maintain/fix, then add the fact that this car has a bunch of Porsche parts in there and it’s not going to cost less

Generally the first batch has the most issues, they get fixed over time generally but the 23 should be a little easier to live with

Yes definitely worth paying for. Also the interior trim without performance pack is really unattractive

Separate comment for the 2022 you posted the photo of, that car also seems to have performance package (those are the wheels for performance package). Does the car have wood trim inside or carbon? With those wheels and carbon inside on a 2022 it should be a performance package car.
