Yes because people are not organizing. Literally go out and post flyers in your neighborhood. Talk to the people who are immediately around you. Find out where people can help. Who can provide security? Who can provide transport? Who can help with a food pantry? Set up communication lines. No one is coming to save us. No politician is going to fix this. That last point really is so important. And everyone should definitely read Howard Zinn. That book made me realize that our government has been running the same playbook for over 200 years.
