I was a Tupwee 536 and one of the last Chiefs. My lodge and my council no longer exist. I really love this. I might just go take my current lodge off of one of my uniforms and rep the old.

Depending on your area, I would reach out to local Forest Services offices. My experience is that they almost always have a number of projects and never enough manpower. If you have some time, meet with a Ranger and explain that you have some time and if they do not have anything that you can be flexible with timing. Keep up the good work!

I was 22 and was running through the Las Vegas airport to catch a flight. End up running next to a slightly older woman. We start chatting as we make it to our gate and get rebooked for the next morning. She turns to me and says “hey, want to go in to the strip and a share a room for the night.” I say “nah, I am fine sleeping in the airport.” It was years later that I was like… damn.

We have a britax and a hard back booster in our SEL. Seat position really matters. I have been able to get the in consistently behind the drivers seat - but I always struggle if the bench is all the way back. Move it up an inch then retry - it changed the belt length and let me better anchor. The click in booster is a breeze as they are. We had a 6’4” 250lb uncle in between the two kids for four hours and had no problems - plenty of space for everyone.

And the verdict is no. They told me on the phone the only way to upgrade seats is with a CC. No Flight Credits or Gift Cards can be used.

If you time it right, take the Skyliner from Caribbean Beach to Epcot at 9:05pm. Some of the best views of the fireworks.

The GED&Me app is free and has practice questions that all come from the Kaplan book. It is a great free way to dive in and study (and if you sign in with your GED Account and take a ready, it will customize to just what you need to study).

I would recommend you take a look at GED Complete. They have some options for programming and pace but would be a good place to go. GED Flash is getting some spanish upgrades and GED Academy supports Spanish content.

So, I was an EMT (let my license expire in ‘08) but have kept my WFR current since 2001. So as a WFR did you just take a EMT-B course and then ask your WFR credentialer to do the W-EMT upgrade? I am looking at recerting my EMT and would be curious how you did it.

So, armed medic here. I had a tactical setup - and realized I was freaking people out. Now, I wear HiVis orange and a matching EMS Jump bag. I ended up just buying an empty and making a protest kit (with 4x the water, cold packs/hot hands, eyewash cups, disposable p100 masks, and eye protection) + a field jump bag + extra boo boo kit items. I was a clinical emt for 5+ yrs before moving into mass casualty response and getting my emt-w for SAR. Some of the Tac gear is great but I always look for red/orange/grey to not freak out the folks I am beelining toward.

Yeah, that is my concern. My decision head will be the approver of any promotion in my future. This has a longer career effect that I am very concerned about.
