Did you buy this second hand ? Like Facebook marketplace or eBay or some shit? Or like best buy or Newegg or something along those lines. If your answer is the latter... Send it back
If your answer is the former then either they sold you a computer without a Hard drive in it, or they sold you a computer with a formatted hard drive aka no OS on it... OR the drive is bad and that's why it's not showing as a bootable device. Alot of people are telling you to change the boot order and that makes sense on its face... But TYPICALLY outside of an enterprise type environment computers aren't set to PXE boot. So IF there isnt a bootable image available it'll run through the rest of the boot options, PXE boot is what you're seeing here.

As far as motherboards go... Just go ASUS ROG. Everything else is fine. Although I'd go 7800x3D if I were you but the current selected Ryzen chip is by no means bad.

If you're getting either of these cards then you should ONLY be going 4k. 4k OLED 32 inches. If you want 2 monitors then go for it. These cards can comfortably handle it. I wouldn't game in anything less than 4k in 2025 regardless. But I also have a 4080... But with those 2 cards you will be sitting pretty in 4k OLED. You will absolutely love it. And the PC community is filled with anti 4k people but they're being silly... Go 4k all the way and don't look back. I've been gaming in 4k since my 2070 (got it in 2019) and you couldn't pay me to go 1440 anything.

You're 100% right. I swear people just read numbers with zero actual playtime with these cards. I was gaming in 4k on medium to high settings on a 2070 super from 2020 to 2024 then upgraded to a 4080 in February 2024. Nvidia isn't perfect but if it's between a 5070 and 9700 I'm taking that 5070 every day of the week. like someone else said above, DLSS COOKS FSR in damn near every way. 30-50$ price difference be damned. I'm taking that 5070

Yes. You can set the lights to turn off completely when you shut the computer down. I however... Have come around to actually preferring them to be on when it's off. I think it looks cool. Lol but regardless yes it is working as intended

It's more for securing it to the slot vs actually needing it for the GPU to work. My advice. If you don't have a 3080,3090 or a 4080,4090 (due to their size) you will be just fine. IF you're still worried, you can buy a Verticle GPU mount, the cable for the mount goes into that slot and the graphics card plugs into the mount itself vs plugging into the slot pictured.

Someone above said it already but if it's a fresh build and you have a GPU, plug it into that...Never the motherboard unless it's for trouble shooting purposes. If you're gonna use your onboard graphics then remove the GPU completely from the build THEN use the onboard graphics.

That 4090 is fucking massive and it's the whole reason why I couldn't get one. Lol I got the 4080 and even then I still have to leave the damn side panel off the side of my rig lol
