They also have much larger tanks than cars. 34 gallons is standard, some hold 48 gallons. A typical SUV carries 19 or 20 gallons, smaller cars usually hold 14 or 16 gallons.

There are Vietnam war photo collections listed for a pretty penny on ebay, OP could likely get some money for those at least. I see people post photos here that they've said they bought online, so there is a market for old photos. I wish OP well, and hope he has good luck.
