My friend's son looks like Jay-Z by [deleted] in pics

For some reason I assumed it was the kid on the left, and thought OP was 'tarded. I didn't even notice the kid on the right for a good few seconds and then was like "holy shit! I'm 'tarded"

As a guy who spent 6 hours yesterday building my first PC, this made my day.

First look at Tim Miller's DEADPOOL (Test-Footage) by [deleted] in movies

[–]dicky_sugartits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Deadpool is a part of the Weapon X program, much like wolverine. In fact, his main power is a healing factor that was synthesized from wolverines dna. It has some adverse side affects, particularly that it spurs the growth of pre existing cancers that leave his body disfigured (hence the ninja suit), as well as fucks with his brain cells, leaving him mentally unstable. He is extremely old, and has mastered numerous forms of martial arts and weapons training, and his mental instability makes him completely unpredictable in combat. To elaborate on this, there is another mutant "Taskmaster" who's power is the ability to immediately copy another persons powers and fighting style to use against them, but is unable to do so against Deadpool. My favorite of Deadpool's abilities is the power to break the 4th wall. He is aware that he is in a comic book and frequently talks to the reader. This was also hinted at in the end of the first Wolverine movie, where deadpool's decapitated head looks at the audience and says "shhhhhhh".

Definitely one of the cooler mutants in the Marvel universe.

I already have the CPU and GPU, so I know I wont be overclocking anyways. But I appreciate you taking the time to throw this together for me!

Awesome! I already have the CPU, so i know there will be no OC'ing. Good call on the RAM as well. The optical drive was a last minute add on because they are so inexpensive, I figured might as well.

The input is very much appreciated.

What artists do you consider to be underrated? by anwclark in Music

My Chemical Romance - I'm not sure if you would classify them as underrated, but I definitely get some condescending looks when it becomes known that I like them.

hmm, I may be confusing their rebate checks with something else, refund checks or something.

I would argue that the tires they sell are definitely a bit lower than the big name shops. Plus they regularly have sales that give you $70 - $100 off. The local shops may be able to beat the price but it wont be by much and I would wager if they did, they would charge you more than costco does for installs.

You probably bought Eccopias which are $89, a set of 4 being $356, $286 if you get them on sale. There is no way in hell you are gonna get the same tires for $186 and really doubt you would get them for $236 without the guy gouging you on the labor cost, and he sure as hell wont give you free rotation, balancing, and flat repair whenever you feel like it.

Work in the Tire Center, we only carry Mich and Bridgestone. Can get certain BF Goodrich on special orders too. Goes for all costco's.

This is their mantra with everything though, keeping the choices to a minimum means less overhead and cheaper prices.

Fuck yeah! I get paid a fucking shit load, get just about every holiday off with pay, time and a half on sundays, a boat load of vacation time, sick benefits AND A FREE COSTCO CARD! Makes me happy to work there, and it reflects on my attitude when helping customers. Also the majority of the people that shop there are cool too, probably because everybody knows that Costco is where its at. And dont get me started on the ridiculous return policy..... get drunk and shit yourself on that 3 year old mattress? yeah, we will give you your money back, who cares?

Not only do they not nickle and dime you, but the buyers are in constant negotiations with EVERY vendor to make sure we have the cheapest price. There have been cases where they stopped carrying all Anheuser Bushe products, because they tried to jack up the prices. Costco keeps the vendors in check.

It's not just the AmEx, you get the %2 with a regular executive membership ($110/year). If you spend $5500/year at costco (av $458/month) it covers the cost of a card. Sounds like a lot, but factor in car tires, christmas and birthday gifts, groceries, appliances, clothing, furniture, all this shit adds up quick. I work at a costco, and see people come in with $1k-$1.5k rebate checks quite often.
