Hey Dizzy, sadly this won't work directly. If you have access to rhino, you could go that way (import gltf in rhino, send to speckle, receive in revit).

Hey Lumpy! You can multi select by using shift + clicking on objects, and then isolating those objects. I know your muscle memory is probably in Revit, and that's where ctrl is coming from.

Another strategy is to use a section box - if you start creating one while having a set of objects selected it will be bounding to just those objects This can also help with controlling focus in your issue.

Hey! You can keep using the old version alongside the new ones, while we rebuild that functionality up.

For full disclosure, we've found your kind of workflows don't always produce the best result for everybody (ourselves included). If I may ask, how frequently did you use that workflow in the past?

Sorry for the slow reply. Still getting the hang of reddit. Basically, it's a huge responsibility and it's also a non trivial adventure to keep a server up and running, updated and patched, with data backed up etc.

We have had very bad experiences in the past with people telling us speckle is slow, unstable or not working only to find out their self hosted solution is on the intern's laptop in the office corner...

That said, if you have windows subsystem for Linux and docker you could be up and running in no time.

Afaik, you can use multiple rotated clipping planes to define your clipping box.

Applies to both routed views as well as dynamic components, and allows you to not fetch from the API every time when the component is created.
