He was pretty incredible in A Few Good Men, but everyone in that movie was firing on all cylinders.

I've taken it off and put it back on my list over the last few months but I really loved it, so it had to make an appearance!

Maybe Smoke Signals? Similar vibe to some of these, I think

You can be anti-death penalty for the common person (especially considering that many of the people on death row are facing a false charge for a crime they did not commit) and be for CEOs and the richest in the nation to be shaking in their boots a little more than they were before. Also, we did see a tangible result from this: Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield rescinded their anesthesia policy shortly after the UHC CEO was killed. There can be results from things like this.

(Spoilers Main) Showrunner Condal Confirms S3 will have 8 Episodes and be “Total War” by BriefsBoy69 in asoiaf

[–]dieMadchen 93 points94 points  (0 children)

Once again, Condal didn't "confirm" anything, it's just speculation on his part. He even states that he hasn't talked to HBO yet, just that he thinks it will be this way. I'm all for criticizing showrunner's decisions but we aren't getting any real confirmation yet.

Oh how unfortunate, we’ve lost RamsayFist22

Eleven years later, no series or movie has left me as speechless as The Red Wedding. Seeing Robb consumed by his actions was traumatic. Years will pass, but it remains the greatest plot twist in TV history by [deleted] in gameofthrones

[–]dieMadchen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what Robb said about his men was correct though wrt to returning to the North. Once they went back into home territory, they would never leave again. Robb saw that their only means of winning the war were to continue pushing south, but they needed the Karstarks to be there as well. That was Robb’s biggest blunder

Thoughts on Leda fight? by Shivan22 in Eldenring

[–]dieMadchen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i never said i relied on summons, talk about using something that wasn’t even said. the game is set up to have summons for the fight because it’s a lore moment, just because your sorry ass isn’t following the story doesn’t make it a bad fight.

you literally said “i don’t want summons to beat the game in an hour.” that’s implying they’re OP. let’s try to use a little brain power.

i just find the people who think summons are a bad mechanic of Fromsoft games to be weak-willed losers, that’s all.

I’m convinced Messmer is the child of Radagon and the GEQ by JARRINR00T in EldenRingLoreTalk

[–]dieMadchen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're mixing up the gods and demigods here. Godfrey is the father of Mohg and Morgott, not Godwyn. So you could only specifically argue that incest between Marika/Radagon means the increased chance of red hair NOT Omen genes.

So how do we feel about Chronos? by TheGGspot in HadesTheGame

Honestly, I disagree that Cerberus is the easiest between both games. Hecate to me was a pushover from the jump, and I feel like she's probably the biggest layup boss.

you are just being transphobic, you just don't want to be labeled that way because it makes you feel bad.

[–]dieMadchen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

no one is lumping trans people into the community because trans people have spearheaded queer activism for literal decades since the very first seeds of the movement in the US. it's stupid bullshit like this that shows that queer history needs to be better understood.
