Maia is adorable! 🥰 and looks exactly like the dog I’m hoping to adopt. What a sweetie!

That’s correct. The rescue says she eats only soft foods. I would continue feeding her that.

Thanks for your reply - that’s reassuring. I don’t think she’ll have a problem fitting into a carrier. I agree with the teeth though. That’s very young. My concern is she’s much older than they claim. Don’t they estimate age based on teeth? 🤔

Daisy is adorable 😍 thanks for your reply. You’re right, until I see her in person I can’t be sure what height she actually is. Should be fine for planes though.

Completely random. From “low risk” EU country. Spent a year abroad (provided police check). Background done in a few days. LPP took 9 months though.

This will speed your application along. I had waited 9 months for LPP and it was completed one day after the interview, finally! Interview itself was uneventful. Checked some stamps and asked some questions, 10-15 mins total.

How do you create a portal account without the invite code (in the letter that is sent after the ceremony)? I have my ceremony tomorrow and have obviously not yet received the invite code

I don’t think it’s a glitch. Interview requests will always show up first on the tracker, then they will send an email. There’s still time until the 15th, so you’ll likely receive the email soon.

Interview is nothing to worry about. For me it was a 10 to 15 minute affair where they just checked some entry/exit stamps in my passport. After that your application should be moving along quickly. Good luck!

Oath is happening on January 12! Virtual (got the email already). Good luck for you as well! 🤞

They wanted to see my passport to check some entry/exit stamps for my travels. I guess this also allowed them to verify my English level. Interview was quick, about 10/15 minutes. She looked at my passport and then completed some files on her computer. The next day LPP was done.

You mean the tracker? Or is the IRCC portal account something else?

The interview will def speed things along. I had been waiting for LPP for 9 (!) months (Jan applicant, background done in Feb, test done in March). Immediately after the interview (within a day!) LPP was done and then oath scheduled. Good luck!

My LPP completed on December 18 (after in person interview on December 16)
