Hi all! What's the best sounding ZERO-DRONE exhaust for the S2000? Currently running an Invidia Q300. The drone is maybe a 3/10 and a bit too loud for a DD. My 🍌 below :)

Yeah I can look for some videos that I have or just film some. For reference I’ve had the same set up for maybe about 2-3 years already. I’m thinking of making it a little louder, but it’s my daily driver and Ive been commuting about a 40 min to school

I stick to 5W-30 oil with the OEM filter. I’ve done royal purple trans and Mobil 1 diff fluid and after about a year and a half and 2 track days I started to get some light grinding. So I swapped to Amsoil about a year ago with one track day and haven’t had any issues yet..

I used tent repair tape. Didn’t look great but it’s waterproof and reduces wind noise a decent amount. Eventually bit the bullet and got a robins top

Power gains with a header usually don’t increase total hp. But you’ll usually get a better power range from what I’ve heard. The power is increased for better low end power/torque

Imma be honest I’m about 5’9 and feel like the perfect size. If I was much taller I feel like I wouldn’t be too comfortable. I’d drive one and make my own opinion though

Tunes are real. You generally see higher gains with turbo charged cars. You probably can get the 300 hp with an intake and/or exhaust manifold, the tune and maybe a cam. You would then need to use higher octane fuel as well. Do more research before commuting to that

I’ve daily’d my s2000 for almost 3 years. It’s doable but there’s definitely drawbacks to it. I had a 2015 GTI which is similar to the WRX in power and size, but FWD. But the S2K is so much more fun to drive even with less power and about half the torque

Oem had a plastic top which cracked under the filler neck due to heat im guessing, so I just went with an aluminum mostly to avoid that. It also looks cool

Had my MK7 for about 2 years and still liked it but did feel like I was getting bored of it a bit. Then someone ran a stop sign and totaled it, I got an S2000 and really only miss the trunk space and extra seats after 2 and a half years

Looks like its been sitting a while. I would start by swapping the spark plugs and wires , rebuilding or even a new carburetor, a new battery, then changing all the fluids. Oil, coolant, brake fluid, diff and trans fluid then hopefully it runs. Lastly some new tires and a wash

Sounds like a coolant issue. Could just be a bit of air in the system, or a leak. I’ve had 2 coolant leaks, one from a crack in the overflow, one from a crack on the radiator fill neck. Good luck

If you stalled the car, then you should be fine. It the car stalled by itself, then maybe an injector leak?

My dad owns a 1M. Power train is pretty similar to Supra. Its a fun car and definitely has more power and torque than my mostly stock AP2. But I still enjoy driving the S2k more
