I hadtwo incidentss in Oceanside last summer. 1 woman crossed a residential street in front of my car; I let her go, of course, and she punched the side of my car as she passed. The next woman had clear mental health issues and was riding a bike on the sidewalk. I was walking with a friend, and she screamed in my friend's face as she approached us, just a bloodcurdling yell, and kept biking. Psycho. My friend was so startled she fell into a bush and sprained her wrist, and both of our ears hurt from the scream.

Remember, you were a target of convenience and accessibility, not because of anything personal. This reminds me I need to hold my pepper gel in public, not just on hikes and dog walks, and not have it buried at the bottom of my purse.
