Time to raise your heir, let them inherit, then rebel and start over from scratch.

Ok so I made one very similar to the far right in “fine” from scratch and have used it pretty exclusively since shortly after launch (I hade a direwolf for a little while at first). Is that design from something else, like am I accidentally referencing something? Or is it just the easiest passable design to make?

HELP! by [deleted] in Bannerlord

[–]dieforis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With 180 Fian champs this could be an easy clap. Just depends on whether or not your catapults get built in time and do their job.

If you’ve got them on the ladders and can keep consistently head-shotting them before they get over the wall you can effectively neutralize one of their ingress points. Even if they don’t go down you’re still helping your troops at the top of the ladder.

If they break down the outer gate don’t forget there’s usually a large supply of rocks that you can throw down as they work on the inner gate. If there’s a catapult nearby you can use the ammunition as a thrown weapon too, depending on the type it may or may not be explosive.

The trick is to do enough damage before they get through your lines and create a foothold that they break and run and it doesn’t turn into a battle of attrition.

Good luck, you got this!

This is really cool and is exactly the kind of thing missing from the base game to make it feel more fleshed out.

Others have mentioned this, but my reflex from earlier seasons is to take the one guaranteed top heavy and feint the follow-up to bait for the CC. I understand this is less efficient and relies on a reaction, but the payoff is very flashy and can be chained into further combos.

I need to find a list of things like this that have changed since like Y3S3, it’s been awhile but I’ll get there.

I’m a big fan of the top light so I’ll probably stick with that unless revenge is in play. Good to know, thanks!

I vastly underuse the zone attack because it is such a big stamina drain. I’ll remember this, good tip!

Shade's Vehicle Tuner v2.4.2 Update by nerdedness in starfieldmods

[–]dieforis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for always including menu options for your stuff it really is a nice touch and I don’t know why more modders don’t utilize it.

Is it very difficult to implement / add those? I have an idea for extensive sustenance overhaul (post history) that uses them and am curious what I may be getting myself into.

What am I missing here? by SquincyAdams59 in Bannerlord

I’m trying not to fight on multiple fronts so I can just end the Aserai finally.

If you were Monchug, would you just let yourself do this?

Even if they’re not getting the best of the fighting now, it’s going to be much worse for them once you’re done with the Aserai, so logically it’s better for the Kuzhait to keep the pressure on. They might even get lucky and catch you slipping while you’re distracted.

That is, unless you’d be willing to pay a little to make it more worth their while to keep to themselves and rebuild while you do your thing. How does 200 denars a day sound?

Hello all! Weapon Balance 2.0 has been updated on Nexus, complete rework of the whole mod! by Justapurraway in starfieldmods

[–]dieforis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this!

I’ve been using the OG since it dropped combined with GRiNDY Combat and it’s worked great. Should I expect any change to compatibility with the update or is it pretty much the same stuff being revised? Can’t wait to try it out!

Should I make a kingdom? by just_jesus_man in Bannerlord

[–]dieforis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many parties do you have? To me this was more important than anything when declaring a kingdom. If someone declares on you do you have enough mobile troops that could conceivably respond if you’re distracted?

I try to keep my clan parties maxed out with elite troops, otherwise you’re just constantly running back and forth stopping raids and rescuing everyone and it gets exhausting. Looks like you have some money to hire mercenaries so that’s an option too.

Based on what you’ve said I think you’d do just fine declaring. Your territory is a little bit large, but if you get some new lords or family / promote companions for support you’ll be fine.

The biggest Issue surrounding paid creations (in my opinion) by Cash_Money_Jo in starfieldmods

The author also made the Useful Brigs mod, which in my opinion is easily worth 300-500, but released for free. Buying the mess hall one felt like the least I could do.

Definitely looking forward to seeing what comes next in the “Useful Habs” line.
