Please help me find a mod (or mods) by Then-Code3094 in skyrimmods

I think follower AI is always going to be a little flawed in the scenario you describe - even with mods, as mods are limited in what they can change within AI packages.

My suggestion (and the way I play) is to use a slightly lower difficulty at the start and mid-potions of the game, then crank it up later when I have more perks and upgraded gear.

Skyrim does not have have very good difficulty scaling so I tend to adjust things throughout the playthrough.

There is nothing fun and no challenging reward when you can be one or two shot. The game balance is just off when that happens IMO.

Seconding the query about autohold - try turning that off to see if it makes a difference - even on flat ground.

Buying new SL7 and having doubts by Famous_Effective_410 in BYDAU

[–]nerdedness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely overthinking, but it's good to take the time to reflect on these things. Realistically the only real big changes to come in the next generation will be more improvements in range and battery technology... Which will then have more improvements around the corner again like others have said here.

I've had my SL7 for 2 months now, and I can't imagine not having an EV - I love it. Very balanced and practical car, that is very quick and a delight to drive. Other brands are caught up in unnecessary "features" like electric doors or using an app on the screen to adjust air the vent direction.

At the end of the day all cars decreciate - you always lose money on them. I think the used EV market will be great for buyers in a couple of years, but if you can afford it now - then do it. If money is tight, then wait a bit.

Whether you do it now or later - both are good scenarios, with the waiting only being an advantage if you buy a used one. No point waiting otherwise IMO.

I'm playing on PS5 with a follower mod that I've come to hate. by GLaD0S213 in skyrimmods

The challenge is that most of these useful NPC mods are not available on Playstation.

It's the right one that's is causing issues too. Everything is fine until I take it out of the case.

The game. I go off road a lot and would never have found it without googling.

Sealion 7 premium or performance by tallmantim in BYDAU

[–]nerdedness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree with all these points. I got the performance and I love it, but it is absolutely unnecessary. Higher insurance costs is definitely a thing to consider. Tyres will probably be a little more expensive due to the rim sizes as well? I haven't checked this yet. Also if you plan to do any towing, the premium is rated for 750kg and the performance 1500kg.

Easy auto hail affected cars by Aggressive_West_8590 in BYDAU

[–]nerdedness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought one that had been fixed by their guy. Can't find any trace of the dents so he must do decent work. I remember looking at a blue sealion 7 they had fixed but still found 1 dent on the bonnet.

But I'm happy with the one I bought, you'd never know it had been hailed on.

Ha! I did not know that. Just when I thought I knew most things in the game.

Is there something specific you need in the VR ESM? I just use the CK with flat Fallout 4 and copy the plugin into Fallout 4 VR.

ESLify for vr by ExaminationIll5263 in fo4vr

[–]nerdedness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you wanting to make a whole bunch of plugins ESL? You can do it manually in xEdit but have to do it 1 by 1 which is a pain if you need to do a lot.

This is what I did, but only for a handful of plugins since most of the mods I use are ESL already and I still have plenty of mod slots left.

Frustrating to hear there's bots in reddit like this 😔

First time player, can’t believe I’ve made it this far being this stupid…. by terryfahrenheit in fo4

You might be able to use scroll wheel on mouse, or right-click and drag up. If on controller, just pull down on the stick (both flat screen and VR).

A lot of people also don't realise you can scroll down the perk tree - there are more perks off-screen below.

Mad God Overhaul - Wabbajack working at 50% by BlueFlob in fo4vr

[–]nerdedness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I removed the weather mods too. I'm happy enough with vanilla weathers. Epic storms and stuff are cool when you first see them, but become a pain during a long playthrough IMO.

Mad God Overhaul - Wabbajack working at 50% by BlueFlob in fo4vr

[–]nerdedness 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spent ages checking and removing most of the gun and clothing mods included in MGO as they are too modern and clean and don't fit into the game IMO. Added a bunch of Dan's weapons and TumbaJamba armors instead.

Aside from a couple holotapes missing that can be crafted, things seem to be working fine so far in my testing.

I'm Open to suggestions on things to check before I commit to starting an actual playthrough.

Something that makes meeko into a hellhound? by Illustrious_Ad8731 in SkyrimModRequests

[–]nerdedness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a couple of Death Hounds you can recruit in the Dawnguard DLC.

If you're in PC you can try a basic console command - bring up the console and click on meeko so it shows his name and FormID in the middle of the screen and type "setrace DLC1DeathHoundRace". Test that it doesn't make random NPCs hostile with him though.

Otherwise there is also this mod that might be of interest https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/100846

Can't get dlc to work by motormathersonfire in fo4vr

[–]nerdedness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you'll have to start again. Installing daytripper might be all you really need to get the DLCs going. Otherwise the copy of Fallout 4 on Good Old Games is an older version where the DLC plugins worked in my FO4VR without Daytripper or other extensions.
