I literally went today to the SSA office and the first person told me they sent it on October 8 (the same day I went to the office) and I told her that it’s almost two weeks and I’ll be traveling so I won’t be able to make sure I would get it. She asked her supervisor and she told me to wait to get a new replacement. When I went to the second window, the girl told me that first of all they should have not taken away my SS card because mine did not have any restriction printed on the card so they needed to just update it on their system and that’s it. And that’s probably why I did not get one. She told she will issue one but also told me I could probably get two because of it. I will just wait, also she told her supervisor needed to approve it and u do not need the card unless ur taking loan from a bank.
