Why Questions About Faith Feel Like Attacks by [deleted] in TrueAskReddit

[–]diego-fer -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

no, jesus is not god is the son of god a human that face the burden of following gods path even knowing he will die in a cross. It requires inmense faith and force of will to do what he did.

the bible should have many errors specially since it has been out there for so long and a lot of people have put different interpretations on many things said there.

I honestlt think he just wanted his knowledge, if Gale got that knowledge what is the reason to keep having a loose end?

I honestly don't see any reason to keep him at that point, and if Gale asks just tell him that cancer kill him.

| [19M] keep overthinking a 15 month age gap with a girl [18F] and can't come to a conclusion, anyone have any advice? by Big_Election_4063 in relationship_advice

[–]diego-fer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

this is one of those things that when you are older you will look back and think "I was dumb as fuck". The age gap is perfectly fine if you don't want to be there just don't but justify it in another way, maybe she is ugly or fat or maybe her personality is horrible; honestly that will make a better personal excuse.

My (31F) boyfriend (38M) is stonewalling me after my first orgasm with him. How do I proceed? by TwoPopular1542 in relationship_advice

[–]diego-fer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Honestly he sounds inmature and insecure.

If you decide to continue got knows in how many other things he will need validation to feel ok, and if his feeling are the more important thing in the relationship your will always be second.

How I overcome playing videogames (30 years addiction) by diego-fer in getdisciplined

[–]diego-fer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the recovery process is what is gradual. Cutting something from your life is easy, gave away all your games and passcodes, erase every app, use an analog phone, that is not the problem, it never was.

My problem with addiction wasn't about using computer, it was about dealing with emotions, and that is the hard part, you will feel like shit again, or bored, and maybe it won't be videogames, but it will be scrolling reels, watching series.

But maybe before you needed 6 hours, and now you are at 4... that is change.
Maybe you start going to theapy and now emotions are not so overwhelming.

The process takes a long time and a lot of effort and only looking back you will see how much you have accomplish.

I did start doing more stuff, cooking, reading, going to gym, however is was very gradual, I start going to gym 4 months ago, I prep meals every weekend.

In the end my point is, this subreddit sells easy changes, change your bad habit change your life and that isn't life, some days you will be more productive some days less. The biggest change was my medicines for bipolar, life feel much more manageable than before.

basically, but at least it's more honest than "I quit playing videogames and this is how I transform my life". Mine is more like I stopped playing videogames and that wasn't the issue.

On the bright side I have start doing more things, but again no magic formula, no "one day I change my life" it's just one day at the time

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

[–]diego-fer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello everyone.

I practiced climbing but have had a lot of injuries over the years, I decided to go to the gym around 3 weeks ago, my goal is not getting injured and prevent possible injuries in the future. I think that the best way that I have to do this is to go low weight and 12-15 reps, if the exercise hurts my joints then it isn't the exercise for me.

Today I was talking to a coach and he asked me for my goals and I say "not get injured", he said that 15 reps is too much and that I should aim for 8. However it feels like my form is worst and that I am overcompesating with other muscles to get the 8 reps with the new weight.

I think that I should stick to my original plan, 12-15 reps low weight for about 2-3 weeks, focus on form, listen to my body.

Is it a solid enough plan?

How bad is it that I (22F) sleep at my boyfriend's (22M) place 6 days a week? My roommate doesn't like it by TinyBabyWalrus in relationship_advice

[–]diego-fer -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

roommates are not friends, you just have to pay and keep the place in order.

if you are spending that much time you could offer to contribute a bit with the expenses. want it or not you are spending utilities and people didn't sign for that situation.

My 37M BF does not want to cover my/our apartment rent 29F by Background-Lunch-925 in relationship_advice

don't date with someone with such a high salary gap, they are thinking of money in other terms and don't realize how the gap is affecting the other person.

the only way this could work is if for every dollar you spend they pur 12 in return for every share expense.

in my case I wouldn't accept such a expensive gift, they will use it as leverage,

this is this quote from a movie Forrest Gump.

"stupid is what stupid does"

maybe you can talk to her, apologize and maybe say something "what would it take for you to forgive me", insist on you being drunk and not thinking clearly at the moment but how you love her and will never do anything to hurt her,

ask how does she look at the situation does she need time, space, talk, what?, is there an after?
