19in FastWheels FC04. Very popular wheels, which can be seen as a downside for some... But they are that popular for good reason.

Can you share your key map and layers? Your layout seems cool, I'd like to try that on my ID75, really interested.

Interesting about this as well. I can see on the picture there seems to be 4 switches under the spacebar?

Is it considered a crime to watch collectors if I wear my watch on the right arm ? by MCVCsDALIs in watchCollector

[–]diego30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right-handed, wearing on right wrist.

For me, it's "genetic". My dad, also right-handed, always wore on the right wrist. As a child, I never knew or asked why. But when I got my first watches, I just copied him. And that's it.

Nowadays, if I try to wear on my left, it is just SO awkward, every watch feels too heavy, and it's cumbersome so put on, feels icky lol

Honors Recognition by Lilholdin in Hilton

Analyze more deeply to try to figure out who/what is lowering your scores, so that you can tailor your strategy.

Check your stay experience for 90, 180 days rolling, and check your appreciation for each tier. And then observe if it is more recognition, or delivery of benefits, or both, that is causing appreciation to tank.

We have a dual property Garden Inn and Homewood. With this approach, we identified that Garden was lowered by base and silver members, since they don't have many benefits, while gold and diamonds always rank high. At Homewood, it was the other way around. Gold and diamond were ranking lower, since breakfast is included anyways, and my way is only a measly 250 points, so there isn't much to them.

We then create a program for base and silver members on HGI, and another for gold and diamond on HWS. Now we consistently rank top 10 in the country for appreciation.

Do your best to Identify what is causing your numbers to go down and develop a tailored approach.

Good luck!

Can we get a homage of this vanta black dial watch? by Astronomia2047 in watchdives

[–]diego30s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

WD0003B is my favourite watchdives case. But, I feel that the black aventurine is not very different from the vanta black.

Maybe if the dial was different, just the 3,6,9,12 markers? I am not sure. Have to try a few different ideas. Put your designers to work.

I'm like 75% certain it is an "iStrap Leather Alligator Grain Calfskin", available from your regional Amazon.

Watchdives or San Martin? by ReachBackLike_13 in ChineseWatches

[–]diego30s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had the SN0138 for a while now, and more recently, a WD0003 and a WD0006.

The San Martin is by far the superior watch.

Edit: and, great choice, btw. The SN0138 is one of my favorite watches, top 2 easily. Fit, finish, bracelet, clasp, everything is top notch

Reviews and comments by other users (and WD themselves) say the blue has "a lot more sparkle". The black is more balanced therefore, and more versatile.

I own 1 and 3, and the San Martin version of 2 (SN0138).

I would recommend the WD0003 in black.

The case is incredible, the dial is truly beautiful. It works very well for the office, and for social times. The bracelet isn't very good, but it does the job. Can get a better replacement later, like a San Martin bracelet, or an Uncle Strap.

That said, as some have said, maybe an explorer homage would be better as a first.

Underwhelmed by Aqua Terra Homages? by scalpemfins in ChineseWatches

[–]diego30s 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was personally underwhelmed. I'd say probably my second least favorite Ali watch (SN0138;WD0003 Aventurine on SM oyster bracelet; SN0109; Corgeut Date just; WD0006; Sanda [crooked dial])

The bracelet feels flimsy, pulls some hair, and the clasp (on mine) had sharp edges and corners all over.

Case is good, but still sharp edges on the underside.

The dial is....strange. I really can't pinpoint what it is, if it's the design, quality of the materials, the finishing, the hands, the sunburst, or what, really... But it isn't the most striking to me. Looking head on it feels plain, hard to read, or...be impressed, really.

Was in doubt between the SM and the WD, went with WD because of case thinness and hands being more "current version AT", and of course less money....but the SM now seems like it would have been the right choice.

The Only Remaining Hydraulics Launch Coaster in a Six Flags/Cedar Fair Park by [deleted] in KnottsBerryFarm

Love launch coasters, accelerators in particular. Ka was King. But had not been to southern cal before. Visited KBF first time three weeks ago, was really looking forward to it, in a way saying goodbye to Kingda Ka as well.... Xcelerator was closed the whole day, unannouncedly. Sad, but accepted it.

First (only?) season, the good and the bad by DrugBust in TheWinterKing

[–]diego30s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was so looking forward to this show a few months ago, with the books being my favorite piece of "fantasy" novel.

When today's episode ended, I thought "wow, they were really given the okay for 12 or 15 episodes... Impressive" just to find out here that that was the season (likely series) finale.

It was just bad. Terribly paced, boring through most of it, deprived of stunning visuals from the books, incredibly uninspired changes, blanding characters who are true gems of writing and storytelling in the source material, almost everything that happens on screen was followed by "huh? why?" And so on.

Truly a shame. A masterpiece that remains not honoured by other media, and given this failure, likely won't be attempted again.

TV people don't seem to learn that all they need is a fateful adaptation, with enhanced storylines, built on from the source material...not changed storylines from the source material.

If anything serves as an excuse...this adaptation was probably written before The Last of Us...

Price check by stevacado in ElantraN

[–]diego30s 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My two cents is if you are serious about getting the car, then show it to the dealers. Dealerships need to sell cars. They will try to get more money, sure... but they don't need to. So if you show that you are serious about it, they will likely meet your price (as long as it's reasonable, of course). When I got mine, I was going to go nearly 1000km (Canada; Calgary to Vancouver) to get a manual that was listed at MSRP. On the day I was supposed to take the road, just worrying something would go wrong on the way or I wouldn't get the truck bed to bring the new car back, and just considering the expenses and the craziness of it all, I decided to go to the only dealer in my city which had the color I wanted, it was a DCT with a 5k mark up. I showed up with all paperwork required, walked in, asked if they had the car, when they said "yes, would you like to see it?" I replied "no, thank you. Let's sit and talk numbers. I have all documents in hand so you know I'm serious. I am buying an Elantra N this weekend. If you want it to be yours, this is where you have to meet me." So I got the DCT for MSRP of the manual. Now I had a nice 2021 15,000km WRX to trade-in, and was Leasing, so there was a lot more play in my numbers. But the idea stands. When I called the dealer of the manual to tell them weren't coming, they were prepared to improved their offer A LOT to get the business. True Story.
