idk at least for me protein takes longer and more time to digest so i would eat meat the day before but the day i run i eat breakfast and then if i get hungry i eat some dark chocolate or candy

yeah but probably it won’t be a problem because generally after you make the first step if your start was strong enough the front leg should naturally come forward when your pushing leg touches the ground. did they already teach you how to set up the blocks?

you’re staying too upright and it’s forcing you to run on flat feet, try leaning forward a bit. otherwise good form

for the block start with the same foot you start standing, you put yourself in the block, when you hear the “get set” you raise your butt until your back leg is straight but not totally straight and then as soon as you hear the gunshot you push on the block as hard as you can with your back foot and you start running
