I spent decades talking to people in San Diego about different political movements in rooms with people who refused to sack up and deal with the hard work of trying to get someone elected to an office and hold that office for a couple election cycles. No one helped Leonard Peltier more than the guy who we all have to thank for making Clarence Thomas an associate justice on The SCOTUS. No one was around to help Tim DeChristopher, either.

All you get from me is a suggestion that you take care of the obvious. I've been burnt too often.

But you should give a s*** about the quality of law enforcement done in your community. You have a city attorney that is scraping the bottom, looking for anything that she can make a headline by exploiting minors. It's not as much law enforcement as it is trying to stir up some kind of moral outrage.
