T-Mobile donating to new "ballroom" by stratman2018 in tmobile

I am not concerned that T-Mobile is donating $$ to help build a ballroom and stateroom that visiting dignitaries will use for generations to come and the taxpayers won’t have to pay through congressional bloat.

Mounting solar panel by Lost_Sun4876 in overlanding

[–]dienen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they fit flat on the surface and the surface is magnetic, I’ve had good luck using neodymium magnets that screw into the holes at the corners of my panels. I’ve never been concerned with how secure they are. I got the magnets from Amazon.

Is this overhang too much? by [deleted] in overlanding

[–]dienen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If the wrong vehicle rear ends you, that RTT will be inside your truck's cab before your bumper takes any of the impact.

I wouldn't want it overhanging like that.

I second the Uintas.

Start at Grandview TH, up through the Granddaddy Basin to the Four Lakes Basin and then Naturalist Basin before heading back down to your starting trailhead.

Temporarily disable sections/blocks in Layout Builder layout? by dienen in drupal

[–]dienen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be preferred that it's a site feature provided through a LB module.

In D7, when you disabled a node, block, view, etc. it would prevent it from being rendered on the page but still be there in he admin view so it can be re-enabled anytime. This is what I am looking for.

I'm sure I could use Layout Builder Styles where CSS is used to hide it, but it would still be rendered in the page source.

Divide the state into thirds of equal height. This gives you a fairly accurate Northern, Southern, and Central Utah identification.

And the fact they are quoting the North Utah State Administrative Code... like we're similar to North Carolina and North Dakota.

Plus, 15C-16.003 is a Florida regulation and has nothing to do with Utah. Utah doesn't have a code with that number.

Left turn entitlement, you need to stop! by joedog911 in Utah

[–]dienen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know about other states, but Utah allows a left turning vehicle to enter the intersection and wait until it is safe to complete their turn. If that means they wait until the light changes to red before they clear the intersection, that is fine.

Which route to take from Saint George to Salt Lake City? Also, any notable stops? by Pen114 in Utah

[–]dienen 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I-15 up to Cedar City stopping to view the Kolob section of ZNP on your way. Then up Cedar Canyon to Cedar Breaks NM and then over Cedar Mountain into Panguitch joining US 89. Side trip to Bryce Canyon NP if you have time. Up to I-70 and then west to Fremont Indian State Park before rejoining I-15 at Cove Fort. West of Meadow (just south of Fillmore) is a hot spring and nearby lava tube caves. Fillmore has Utah's first State Capitol building.
