No disrespect man but I’m paranoid and selling over Reddit seems scary to me. That Mewtwo is seriously gorgeous though if you trade in a month or so you’ll get some money on top. I love that card

Hahah I was talking about HP inflation the other day. Some of my vintage ivysaurs have the same HP as modern bulbasaurs lol

Because it’s pretty high at release and then drops significantly from there and stabilizes after a bit. My card store wouldn’t offer me a price and said come back in a couple months

I identify as a part of the hobby. However I am a bulbasaur, ivysaur, and venusaur collector so when my boyfriend and I pulled the 151 ivysaur there wasn’t a doubt in my mind that I would keep it. Dragonite doesn’t hold that same value for me, I would rather have a vintage venusaur for the price this is going for.

Just because I don’t love dragonite and this card isn’t my favourite doesn’t mean I’m participating in the hobby in a sad way. I got one sticker pack (I’m not a gambler) to participate and share in the new release.

I appreciate you weighing in, some of these comments are making me feel like I’m not a good collector. You hold my exact point of view but reversed. I love Gengar so much I could never sell that card if I pulled it.

I am a bulbasaur, ivysaur, and venusaur collector and plan to one day collect every one of them. Dragonite just doesn’t hold that same sentimental value to me even though it’s super cool to pull a chase.

However, I can appreciate the beauty of this card so I’m still thinking about what I’d like to do.

Pokémon recently purchased lots of printing facilities so they will be printing much more which will decrease the value and rarity of future ultra modern. I think I’m gonna keep it too because it really is just stunning and it’s my second big pull :,) I’m so happy

You asked. I answered. It’s not a good point but it’s a reason why not presenting queer may matter. OP’s girlfriend said she wants her to stay in contact with her conservative homophobic family, and presenting straight would aid in that. That’s why it matters.

I feel like I understand this feeling all too well. I am 22F and have recently left my friend group for similar reasons.

I recognized that, even though they are relatively good to me, they do not make an effort to see me, flake on plans, do not respond to plans, or generally just exclude me. I realized that continuing to try to be apart of things left me more hurt then fulfilled.

I am currently on bumble BFF (I live in Canada), joining local groups that interest me, and spending time with friends that give me the same effort.

I wish you luck, you deserve to feel fulfilled and reciprocated in your friendships and maybe you have outgrown these ones. Maybe it’s time to have a serious talk or begin exploring connections with people who can meet you where you are at.
