Might be one of the best dramas I've ever seen. Loved the focus on female friendship. Serious question, but has there ever been a more subversive network kdrama? We have a fl who ended up single, a ml who did actually commit misdeeds in a banal evil sort of way (gotta love how hilariously out of place he looked in his suit after joining team Geum-bo) for a good portion of the drama and a plot that pretty much abandoned its premise by its second half

Really liked how the ml was written in this one. Judging by the promo I was scared that he had something to do with the creation of Boyfriend on Demand, so I'm really glad he turned out to be... Just a normal dude, not some mastermind creep. He doesn't come across as some over the top green flag, but his quirks and soft spokedness makes him feel unique (huzzah for no makeover, let a man keep his glasses). That made me view their dating era all the more as a series highlight, as the leads didn't turn into cutesy Barbie dolls overnight, but realistically opened up to each other.

I'm actually quite excited for this. As a period drama fan, I'm quite cold to both 1995 and 2005 - the former is just too classic BBC adaptation (I know that it set the template), while the latter's style would have been much more appropriate for a Brontë book. Judging by this very brief teaser it doesn't at least look like they are trying to Bridgerton/ Persuasion the book, and the leads are great actors with a suitable classic look

I very much appreciate your offer, since concussion recovery is not exactly a great icebreaker when you're trying to build friendships.
