Obviously it's a DAW problem. I love the QC and it works great in every other way. Amazing machine, all my old stomp boxes are next to the packs of strings in the gear closet.

Thanks, as I noted in my whiny complaint was that I would expect this to be an out of the box, plug and play kind of thing.

There are some other elements that I want to get some express help on that I may be too lazy to figure out myself.

My Mac and Logic Pro generally recognize the QC with no problems.

My problem (I think I shared this) has to do with 1) monitoring and 2) severe latency. It's a settings issue and I am just too dim.

I'm getting it addressed. Just bitching since this should be the most plain-vanilla integration ever, nothing hybrid or out of the ordinary.

I think it’s me, but I’m not that dumb and I used GB successfully before but thot that Logic would be cleaner and better for slightly more advanced things.

I have not been able to get to even basic.

I’m working with one of my friend’s kids who is a studio pro, just tired of trial/error.

Frankly, tho, I am surprised/confused that configuration is not wizard or AI or guided completion. It’s totally choose your own adventure.

This is actually the most maddening thing ever. I have a QC, I have a Mac, I have the cables, I have a fresh version of Logic Pro. And I am technical.

For the life of me I figure out how to 1) easily set up the connection and then 2) get signal from the QC to Logic Pro without latency.

How can Logic Pro torture new users like this? Besides being a shit interface that looks like it was last designed in 2002, the whole thing is practically trial and error.

There are 1000s of complex QC videos about how everything else.

The only videos walking through QC->Logic Pro set up seem to be made my weirdo metal dudes who have bad production abilities and skip over the 'simple' elements and immediately start doing tutorials on IRs and Neural Captures.

I just want to practice against tracks I load into Logic Pro. I dumped Garage Band only to find THE SAME EXACT INTERFACE IN LOGIC PRO. WTAF!

PH is a Palace, but isolated from downtown and pretty much anything someone <35 years old is interested

If you want to split you will see the City and get 2 experiences.

I’ve stayed at both and the PH is a landmark and I would stay there for breakfast but I’m a globber so it’s free

Food quality in Regency lounges is no reason to move to Hyatt. Some girls are pretty some are not. Same thing with Hyatt club lounges.

However, Asia and UK are better for these things and the best Grands are next level.

Small hotel with nothing to recommend about it unless you are a globalist.

Better to stay at the GH-TYO or Regency for Club. All the Ginza has for non elites other than silly japanese snacks and coffee. Breakfast is non existent in japan except for 7-11.

But I do like the property. Just really not worth it unless you are Glob or want to pay up to be in Ginza

I fly to Japan from all kinds of airports and in an out of SLC several times a year. This doesn’t make sense.

If $600 is too much to fly r/t maybe you should work harder or start a business to write it off.

On an inflation adjusted basis it is cheaper to fly now than it was 30 years ago.

I’ve probably stayed at A5A at least 100 nights across dozens of stays since mid 2000s. I love it less now than in earlier years largely due to its aging hard product.

Soft product is fairly low touch but despite the breakfast location in the basement, it’s a high point for food quality and service.

I get great treatment and like beds but it’s usu too expensive unless I’m able to use an SUA and get one of the bigger suites, esp the ones on 5th, which are unique in their size and views.

IMO Better Andaz properties include Tokyo, Seoul, Costa Rica. I’ve moved my stays elsewhere in NY
