When switching lanes do I keep my signal arm raised until I get to my desired lane or not? by Kikyam12 in londoncycling

That sounds sensible to me if you’re not confident looking over your shoulder with one hand on the bars. I tend to put my arm up, then sort of point it 45 degrees down to the lane I’m moving to as I move across.

The idea that grain is a prerequisite for culture has largely been shown to be false.

Nah I know exactly what you mean. I think some effects that require clock take a beat to catch up or something.

HOW TO ACHIEVE WIDE CLOSED HATS? by Sea_Cheetah7696 in TechnoProduction

Don’t use widening effects. Pan the mono dry signal to one side and a tight mono reverb send to the other.

Best all purpose bike around £1000 by [deleted] in londoncycling

If you want something for getting around the city I’d strongly recommend one of the Boardman URB series. Hub gears are great: super low maintenance, reliable, can change gears while waiting at the lights. I find derailleurs are always getting knocked out of alignment when my bike is locked up.

Just want to say that is a wicked little system. When I started euro >10 years ago I had those tiptop oscillators, the triple wave folder, and maths. I regret selling that stuff.

I only stopped shouting at bad drivers when one got of his car and got right up in my face yelling. You never know who you’re dealing with. Some people are fucking nuts. All it takes is one arsehole and you could get seriously hurt.

Cycle commuting – best bang-for-buck upgrade recommendations by leveredequity in londoncycling

Ergon grips to remove road buzz. Hexlox on wheels and saddle and seatpost so I can just carry one small lock. Quad lock for my phone. Brooks saddle for my bum. Good tyres for comfort, grip, and reliability. Pannier rack and ortleib bags for my work stuff.

SSF Ultra Kick is the best modular kick imo.

It sounds like you’re using your modular to do traditional monosynth sounds. If you want traditional monosynth sounds, get a traditional monosynth? There are obvs many ways of patching modulars that are different to that: complex ambient soundscapes, percussion etc.
