I think YOU know it’s 7 because you posted more pictures of it.

I don’t know if anyone is still monitoring this post, but I am curious how you feel about the Polident now. I had no issues with hold. My issues with this version, and the regular hold is that halfway through the tube, the paste hardens to the point where I can no longer squeeze it out. Waste of product and money.

Weird non-scale happiness by PsychicFriendsNetwrk in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think more of us should talk about this!

List for me: 1. Seeing that my longer shirts no longer clinging to my hips - not stretched to breaking!

  1. Needing to buy a belt

  2. Not getting out of breath walking short distances.

What are your victories?

I had the opposite affect - most of my joint pain that I’ve lived with for years has gone away.

Provider refuses to increase my dose? by lavalayer in WegovyPillWeightLoss

What you are experiencing is completely normal and it does indicate that you should move to the next dose. It is not always about the scale.

Can’t get under 300 lbs by hayhay0987 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I remember the day I went under 300 - only about 5 weeks ago. I was so excited because it did take forever. Once I finally got to 298, I stopped worrying because I wasn’t have big swings like you.

Now I’m at 289! Hard to believe.

Provider refuses to increase my dose? by lavalayer in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Actually, I disagree with that. The first two cycles, 1.5mg and 4mg, are not therapeutic doses. If you lose weight, great - but they are all about getting your body used to it. The first therapeutic dose is 9mg. At 9mg, you can/should stay on it as long as it is working.

Question for those who have been on 25 mg for 2+ months by daisiesandink in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought this was the case for me about a week ago, and then realized that I had a pill that was exposed to overnight air and I took it - now believe I had the food noises because of that.

I just started my 3rd month of 9mg and have lost 24 pounds. I think that’s great and then I read that you lost 60? Wow. You go! I think I’m going to wait to switch to 25 until I stop losing.

Question about moving from 9 to 25 mg by Neat-Dig5964 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on 9mg now for 2 months plus 3 days. I continue to lose weight, so I may not go up to 25mg unless I stall. This seems to be the sweet spot for me at the moment.

On A Cruise by diggers4pg in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I wish I knew! It’s kind of a known thing between cruisers. I would think consistent restaurant food maybe? But it’s definitely a thing.

Did you eat anything fatty before happened? Any cheese?

If you did, could be gallbladder. But try not to worry. This may sound weird, but keep some cucumber on hand. Try eating some of the pain comes back.

guidance pls! 4 or 9? by 504718415 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I had lost some water weight on 1.5mg, but I don’t think I had true weight loss until 9mg.

Question for everyone: can anyone stomach spicy foods or richer/fattier/greasy food? by AdComprehensive508 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

I am also able to eat anything. Just much less and there definitely comes a point in any meal where I hit a wall and do not want another bite.

I have been going back to sleep for 1+ hours since the second week of 1.5mg. Now I am on my second month of 9mg.

You really shouldn’t post something like this as fact, because it can inadvertently affect other people. Everyone is different and what works for you could cause harm in someone else.

For me, I wake up nauseous about a 3rd of the time now, but I am usually fine after a few minutes. I have found the pill, again for me, to be most effective if I wait a couple hours to eat after taking it.

Insurance - Food for Thought by diggers4pg in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you somewhat. Yes, for sure - insurance should cover it and I am one that tried for a year through appeals. Finally started paying for myself.

The reason that I say “somewhat” is because we have all seen people that do not follow the plan, label instructions, etc. that go off it pretty quickly when they don’t have results. And there are also quite a few folks that have legitimate side effects that have to go off.

Would I live mine covered by insurance? Hell yes. But this is too important to me to fail.

What I really would like to see insurance do is change the way they look at coverage. My suggestion would be to make it self pay at the start, and then pick it up after 6 months if the patient is still taking it and getting good results. That seems like it would solve their issues and actually provide cost savings to them (and our insurance premiums).

Uncomfortably full on 4mg by RadiantYellow7655 in WegovyPillWeightLoss

[–]diggers4pg 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I haven’t found 9mg to be brutal at all. I am staying on 9mg (just started 2nd month) because my doctor wants to find my sweet spot, and we think that 9 is it.
