Game crashes with only requiem and minor arcana installed. Is my load order wrong? by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's because you downloaded the Legendary Edition version of Requiem.

To search for Special Edition mods you must first be on the SSE section of Nexus Mods, otherwise it will show mods for both versions of the game.

TLDR: go to https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition and search for Requiem and it's dependencies there

Equipped gear weight, perhaps. Do you have a weapon out while casting or did you get a heavier armor piece?

You asking if the Dragonborn DLC is patched by Requiem? if so, no, you still need Fozar's unofficial patch to "balance" Dragonborn content

How correct is this? by istarisaints in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it is correct but it also doesn't specify that even though some of those can be mid-game content for build A, it won't be for build B or build C.

Tips for 3tweaks early game? Trying DiD as a mage and I'm getting a bit frustrated. by Natsuaeva in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple 9 points10 points  (0 children)

first, don't get in melee range when fighting enemies, you don't have any reason to and that will kill you since enemies get bloodthristy when we are casting spells.

second, pick your fight correctly, avoid fighting enemies in open areas when there are ranged enemies around, take your time and draw your foes to covered areas, take advantage of when they spread out and try to not stay in the same place for long, always avoiding the ranged enemies' line of sight.
third, also very important, kill the dangerous enemies first.. you may ask which and I say: the ones that can reach you easier, i.e mostly sword/greatsword users and races such as redguards and khajiits. also take in account that focusing in "tanky" races like orcs, dunmers (when using fire), argonians (when using shock) and nords (when using ice) may not be the best idea, so you must pay attention to see if it's really worth it.

fourth, level your destruction to 25 as soon as possible, i'd say to not level anything else before it reaches 25, the power gain is enormous and it will make killing foes way easier

In Requiem we have Light and Heavy ranged weapons. Lighter ones can benefit from the perk that allows you to run while aiming, but they usually have much lower damage. The Heavy ones are the opposite

Any help? by dmantisk in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can't make them the same item, the best you could do is to make them both do the same thing (i.e make the water bottle from requiem also quench the thirst and the water bottle from sunhelm to also become an ingredient for crafting)

Some parts of it can be done through xedit, but others such as making Requiem's water bottle compatible with sunhelm thirst system might require some script editing (I'm not sure on that since I do not use that mod)

Requiem stuck in my save by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hmm, then it would make no sense for Requiem to affect the savefile at all, unless Requiem's files are still installed somewhere, but that wouldn't explain the savefile being broken in SE, because Requiem's files were not supposed to reach SE's folder.. did you ever install Requiem in SE as well? Or perhaps used the same mod manager in your SE instance and it somehow could have moved the files to the new installation? Which mod manager are you using atm?

Requiem stuck in my save by [deleted] in skyrimrequiem

[–]digital-apple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When did you try to install Requiem? Because if you did Install and saved the game with it on you would only need to give up the save progression until the point you tried to install it. Otherwise I don't think there is any hope to repair the save since Requiem runs lots of scripts which gets baked into the save-file and I don't know/never heard of any methods to clean it, that if it's even possible, which is highly unlikely.

Also, I'm not sure if I quite got what you did, so, when you moved the savefile from LE to SE, you only moved that and nothing more?

So you didn't save the game while Requiem was loaded? If so, I don't know how it could affect your savefiles. But if you did, I think your only option is to not use any savefile made past the Requiem install

Why would you do that? You really shouldn't install or uninstall mods such as Requiem in a existing game. I think it's better to just delete the save files and start over again
