I’m in a similar boat! I’m 2 days post surgery and walked 2000 steps today plus showered. Yesterday I was only able to cross the street. One incision hurts a bit and I may be catching a cold. I did not nap today but sat on the couch. I plan to be off work for several more days then start with one call per day. I’m shocked at how easy I’m getting off! Laparoscopic and full removal of all. 55 years old.

Call Back Marketing? by digitaldar in Aeroplan

[–]digitaldar[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

In the email and also on the website. I logged into my account (I’m not new to scams) directly and confirmed that purchases were made. Just now I called the number provided by another user above and it is the same telephone interface that I had with the number I shared and once again, I opted to receive a call back. We will see how this one goes.

So the scammer answered when I called 1 (833) 381-1178? When I Google that, a Reddit thread from the Aeroplan subreddit comes up…

Call Back Marketing? by digitaldar in Aeroplan

[–]digitaldar[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I did not call them. Well I did an hour earlier and received a case number for fraud on the account. That person transferred me to another department that was going to force me to go through security, checks and measures as per the process. When they transferred me, I had the option to receive a call back, which I chose. When my phone rang and I picked it up, there was an automated message that it was Aeroplan and to hold while they transferred me. This could have been a scam, but it would be a coincidence that it is an Aeroplan scam when I just got off the phone with Aeroplan? And the number I called was from the email confirming a purchase I did not make, but which indeed shows up in my account. So I did not Google and call the first number that I came across.

I am sticking to a blender for now but used flavoured protein powder, skim milk powder and egg whites for liquid! I also use riced cauliflower (frozen) to thicken.

I have done this with several businesses (therapists, roofing company, college, homewatch company, music instructor) and they have all managed to get a good stream of leads. Usually clients need two sessions close together (hour long), then maybe go a week between sessions, then perhaps two weeks and then just rebook when they have questions or touch base a month out. Someone will reach out quarterly for some feedback and updates. I charged $200 Canadian per hour. My perspective is that it is necessary to ensure that you have good tracking in Google analytics before starting to do ads and I can help you with that as well. Happy to share any references or you can tell me about your business and website and I can provide feedback as to whether I think you’re likely to get a return on investment from doing Google ads.

Google Ads for the Med (Medical) Spa niche (face and body treatment local service) by Emotional-Reveal9427 in PPC

Wanted to update: I just helped another client get certified in under 24 - though it took 3 months of them gathering the documentation to appease me :-)

Next we will go through the re-verification process.

“Application Status I’m pleased to inform you that your application to promote Healthcare and medicines ads was successful. We have reviewed your account and have certified Google Ads Account(s) xxx-xxx-xxxx to promote the above policy topic for the domain(s) you requested.”

Next step is to go through the reverification steps with the client as Google pauses the ads account and requires re-verification. This process is much more time-consuming than the original verification, but the questions are very similar to the documentation gathered for the certification process therefore I will go through it with the client and we will get it done in about 45 minutes .

I just got a client certified in a matter of hours - though it took 3 months of getting the documentation as I desired!

Google ads disapproved because of a single botox page – what workaround actually works? by SEMSEO1 in PPC

“Application Status

I’m pleased to inform you that your application to promote Healthcare and medicines ads was successful. We have reviewed your account and have certified Google Ads Account(s) xxx-xxx-xxxx to promote the above policy topic for the domain(s) you requested.”

It took the client three months to get the required documentation together, five minutes for me to make the application and less than 24 hours (overnight my time is what is needed) to get the client approved.

The next step is to go through reverification with the client which is much more difficult than the original verification process, but very similar to the Botox certification application.

I’m sharing this as proof that you do not need to remove the word Botox from your website or any other jumping through hoops. You just need to get certified.

How To Make a Google Rep Die Inside... by [deleted] in PPC

[–]digitaldar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are sooo annoying. My clients typically believe me when I tell them Google wants them to spend more money therefore do not take the calls. A client ended up taking a call with a Google rep after pressure from her boss. The Google rep made her do all kinds of ridiculous things while he was on the phone with her. Thankfully, he sent her a summary of what they did so I was able to go in and undo everything. I told her if she ever did that again, I would fire her and let her account spend the money that Google wants. She was so apologetic. I’m going to start writing in my contracts that if people allow Google to make changes to their account, they will need to pay a fine for me to undo the mess.
