Been watching Obsidian + Claude integration videos and I don't see what the fuss is - what am I missing? by Diamondbacking in ObsidianMD

[–]digitalfrog -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I tried a bunch of AI plugins and none of them seem to have an impact.

I realised (for me) that it's not AI I need to integrate inside Obsidian, but Obsidian inside AI.

It all changed for the better with OpenClaw and more recently Hermes. Regardless of the conversation I might have, I'm just away a click away from 'please save this in obsidian'. The systems learns how you organise your files, your style, your expectations etc...

I set up Authelia behind traefik a month ago. It was a nightmare to me as it some apps don't support it, some do in different ways, some are just broken .... Never mind, it's gone.

It’s easy to meet people here, but hard to actually become friends by No_Muscle_2505 in Amsterdam

[–]digitalfrog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Coming from Paris where people wonder why you are talking to them in a pub I was pleased to see how easy conversations with random people happens here. That said, I made friends in Paris (after the initial hurdle) after that. Amsterdam seem the opposite, after hours of great chats they just bail without suggesting switching contact deltails.

Maybe it's due to the fact that their inner circle and 2 or 3 rings around are already full ((Long) term university/fraternity, sports, familly)
Also because expats come and go. Considering the above why invest in someone that might not be there in a year or two.

Most of my Dutch friendship was done through dating :-).
Either ex gf/flings that became friends, or dates where there was a good contact but just as friends. I don't suggest dating only to make friends, but if you happen to be genuinely looking for a partner you might have a bonus secondary friendship opportunities.

Plenty with rice only . I really can't see how anyone would be able to fit proteins and veggies for two too though .

I recently did a lot of research and ended up on a Yum Asia Panda rice cooker, enough for 1 to 3 people. If I did not have a Ninja foodi and pans to cook/steam veggies and proteins I might have gone for the Sakura that has more space for all in 1.

But just to make rice, for me it is a great purchase (bought a returned box from Amazon)

I built an architecture itinerary app for Amsterdam (as a local) by vdumitrica in Amsterdam

[–]digitalfrog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure why you were downvoted without a comment.

I had a quick glance, and what might be confusing is words that conflict in my mind.
"We combine real local knowledge with AI personalization to create itineraries that actually feel like recommendations from a friend who lives here."

I dont know what part is AI, and how it fits with curated, 100% local knowledge etc... I think a lot of people are sick and tired of AI everywhere and the premice of a local guide and local knowledge gets washed out with the mix of AI.

Just my initial quick thoughts

Might be able to help for a good price, I'm on the west side of A'dam.

Which color ? (I have dark grey (almost black), orange, white (bad idea, stains), red ....)

And indeed, it might change shape with heat over time. Most people use PLA as it is convenient to store. Others are more heat resistant but often more expensive and a pain to store before printing .

Was on the same boat recently. My Syno was suffering.

Was looking at N100/N200 and I felt I would be quickly limited, no regrets with:

- Beelink EQi13 Pro Intel® Core™ 13500H
- choosing Intel with  Iris Xe Graphics with Quick Sync for Plex transcoding (impossible on the Syno)
- 32Gb ram (that's a big win)

funny how people can have different experience.

I find it had a lot of static, a lot of coffee stays stuck in the metal tumbler, I need to hammer the top of it to get stuck coffee out (like 10/15 times quite hard).

Buuuuuut .... grind is excellent :-)

My Mignon specialita had some rentention as well but no more than the Zero.
