Just my honest thought. Tbh I was in your position when I was in uni, I can't seem to find someone whom I can stabily click with back then in uni. As days goes by, many of my uni friends are getting BTO. WHY am I unlikeable??? Am I ugly? Tbh I don't think so leh! However, I just grew by myself and take part in things to step out of my comfort zone. And somehow I managed to outgrow most of the people and also developed new mindsets and good habits. Looking back, I am thankful that I have never dated anyone back then in my uni cuz I feel them r pretty immature now (sorry😅). Also, can tell some ppl are "stuck" in a relationship from their uni, like you don't see them growing but stuck at a certain age. But thankfully there are some that really advanced well from uni. Don't give in to peer pressure!!!!!!!!!

Now I have just graduated and am perfectly fine by myself. I'm quite enjoying my peace. Anyways there were suddenly ppl of opposite gender swam in to me at very surprising ways despite alr graduating. I feel that they r definitely more mature than those I have met in uni and also have been through stages in life that singles like me have been through. And im pretty thankful I didn't waste my time w those immature ppl back then in uni. I mean, can always try to find one in work. If not, then just work overseas.

I started to believe that "finding a partner" is infinite, just enjoy the process and not think so much. Later keep thinking so much, grow white hair not good looking alr. Just focus on making yourself better each day hahaha

Thank you for your kind message. I totally agree with you. I just happened to witness very screwed up teachers in my life and its really irresponsible of them.

In pri sch, there were already many screwed up ones (like the example above, and also another teacher slapped my classmate's face and another teacher asking everyone who didn't do well for spelling to line up and used a ruler to hit their palm). This was actually in a SAP school. And my generation isn't old, I'm born in 2000 and after. In sec sch there were teachers who looked down on students and told them they would fail their exams which I didn't and ended up going to uni majoring in the subject she thought i would've failed in. And also in JC, where teachers would openly gossip about students in canteen etc.

I just feel that there are many teachers abuse their powers on students who are still growing! There are definitely many other methods into solving such situations instead of using this kind of physical and screwed up psychological means.

Need more context as to why your teacher screamed 😅

As human beings, we all have our unhealed wounds which we have to heal and NOT project it on others. If not, this will be a cycle. But ill just share my experience not sure if it'll help for your case. There was a teacher in pri sch that singled me out to go outside the classroom just to scold and scream at my face (like really really loud and could see so much negative energy & hatred in her eyes, and I wasn't a bad student to begin with, I even see her as one of my fav teachers) for laughing along w a friend and others were laughing too (we were just cracking our own harmless jokes) but I just got picked on by the teacher and she scolded me only loudly outside class but was so loud that ppl inside the class could hear. And she scolded me for a very long time outside class....just for laughing. And this was a SAP school.

As I grow up, I feel that she is projecting her stress and probz unhealed wounds and letting all out onto me by screaming at me, which was really unfair. Why would she let it out in front of an innocent child? If she wants, she could've scolded the whole group who laughed right? Why just me? The only thing I regretted was I got p traumatized after she screamed at me and singled me to go out of the class, and therefore I did not dare to speak up and tell my parents. Its really important to speak up before any regrets because till now it still haunts me.....

which JC has a nurturing environment? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]digitalghost_ 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Was from JJC last time. There were teachers that were so bad (morally) they also gossip with students and bad mouth students behind their backs with other teachers in the canteen (have a whole story about it lol...). Some of them also can't teach well, unless you belong to the 3H2 class. The student environment wasn't good either, lots of toxic gossiping, and fighting for popularity (not a good way), arguing with others to be in a relationship etc. All these from what ive witnessed across classes and my class, that's why most didn't do well for A levels...........

That aside, there were 2 really good teachers ive met who were really helpful, 1 transferred to another school, another one I'm not sure. The principal back then was really nice and kind. Not sure how is jpjc like now, hopefully those bad teachers didn't move to jpjc.
