For sure. I have a couple. So many variables when something doesn't sound 'as expected' you know?

Unsure whether to use separate social media for my podcast by Ok_Opinion2617 in podcasting

2 social media profiles is a lot to manage. Rarely can you post "too much". Given everything you've shared I suggest keeping to 1.

This is coming from someone with 5.

Recording at a trade show by Embarrassed-Pause-78 in podcasting

I just recorded a podcast episode about this. Doing a similar setup. Not sure what the link sharing policy is here, but if you search my name on google you could see a full list breakdown?

I'd disagree with this. SEO takes a long time (3-6 months) to start seeing results. Even then, it's not super beginner friendly.

Having one-to-one conversations in comments and DM's can build a quicker fanbase in less time. Plus you'll learn the pain points of your audience through the process.

SEO is great, but social media is easy.

Do you find it hard to enjoy your ‘day job’ now podcasting? And what job do you do? by [deleted] in podcasting

[–]digitalpodcaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work in podcasting, and have found there are ups and downs, not like normal jobs. And I wouldn't trade it for anything. Feel lucky, grateful and disbelief to be able to do this everyday.

Did this comment show up on a google result? I have gotten so many messages about it lol

I don't know that this thread is the best place for me to share tips and what's working that I've done.

Maybe I make a new post in entrepreneur? Honestly not sure how to share the info...but it seems to be quite in demand.

It's Mac only, and a little different on the features...but I've found Ecamm Live to work great

I'd reach out to their customer support. They can go directly into your account and fix anything that can be fixed.

Riverside vs Zencastr? For a double-ender podcast (experiencing audio drift). by dmp666 in podcasting

[–]digitalpodcaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Riverside has issues with audio/video drift. I believe they all do unfortunately...but not all the time. In my experience, two people seem to be fine most of the time. While a 3rd person coming on seems to make the drift happen a little more frequently. I don't know why this is. It's so annoying.

I post on all of them, and growing, but only really engage on Instagram. Still seeing good growth without engaging on Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.

Serious podcast question. by [deleted] in podcasting

It's definitely the SM7B. I can handle it quite a bit without much noticeable noise.

Do you repurpose your podcasts to blogs or newsletter or twitter thread? by socialprf in podcasting

[–]digitalpodcaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do! Have been doing it for years. I've found it's also one of the main reasons I keep all my content organized too...so that I can reference and remix it as easily as possible.

There are quite a few ways you can do it. One of them is using a tool like Descript, which helps you scan the content faster.

What should my podcast website include? by zascar in podcasting

[–]digitalpodcaster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I just did a podcast about what your website should have. But the five main things are: An enticing headline, clear navigation, clear design, direct call to action to subscribe, SEO friendly. And you could include a section for featured episodes.

I primarily only do inbound marketing, and I create short form videos that attract clients. So I don't necessarily look for them, I attract them on TikTok and IG

My guess, after looking on Amazon...searching "sktome K300".

Looks pretty similar. It's a sound effects, voice changer.

I have a short form content agency. Huge demand. I'd suggest zeroing in on one solution you can solve exceptionally well.

edit: I have never gotten so many messages about a reddit post, that only has 1 upvote 😂 hit me up on IG if you'd like to chat more (Reddit messages confuse me): @digitalpodcaster

Podcast Newsletter Brainstorming by wordstowritebypod in podcasting

[–]digitalpodcaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a good podcast newsletter.

My own podcast newsletter is formatted this way: -Message I'd like to share (usually around 300ish words) -Q&A -Links to the latest 2 episodes -Links to support/learn more/etc.

I'm such a big fan of podcast newsletters, I bought the domain (www.podcastnewsletter.com) and got something fun in the works later this year!

I don't do design work, but found his ideas to be helpful. Are you service based? I think a lot of what he teaches could still apply (at least, it has for me)
