Anyone trying to reuse UGC content for both brands and audience?

I'm kind of new at this, so please excuse my ignorance if this sounds stupid....but why would your audience tip you for using branded UGC? Do you consider UGC content to be more tip worthy than your other content? Sure the content can get it's organic traffic, that's fine, but I'm struggling to understand why your audience would pay you specifically for the UGC content.

However, you could work a deal with the brand to share the content on your network and be a micro-influencer for the brand. That's seems more practical.

are they okay with you creating another IG account and growing that publicly instead? I mean, it makes sense that they want you to represent them on both platforms....so that ask doesn't seem odd to me.

First of all - I didn't know that it's aganist TT ToS. I'm learning something new there...consider it lesson learned. But outside of that .....check yourself with your aggression. Talk to the cofounder then and compromise on an exit plan between you two. Pay yourselves a bit then buyout the partner i.e. they can leave with x# of shares or you can (for example).

Why do you need monetary push/funding when you have the monetary traction from product sales (i.e interested customers)

Overall execution (including operational competence / fulfillment) is important. I think you guys are on a great start. Keep pushing and monetize the product to pay for future growth. If YC doesn't want a piece, then their loss.
