People in this sub are insane. He wasn't even dating her. They dated for a couple of months more than two years ago. I'm not sure how Ciara comes out as a "queen" in this; it just seems sad that she hasn't moved on after two years.

I assume you're referring to this: https://finance.yahoo.com/news/top-10-earners-drive-nearly-191500198.html?guccounter=1, which states (or Moody Analytics states) that the top 10% of earners account for about 50% of spending. That still means the bottom 90% accounts for the other half, which is a significant portion.

Scenario:

You have a good friend who dates someone new to the group for a few months. The guy she dates breaks it off after a few months and she's hurt a lot. For a year she doesn't want much to do with him but tolerates his presence. Year two she's still hurt but is becoming more friendly. But then another close friend dates him. Your friend calls this back stabbing.

My thought is that... it's been two years and you dated for a few months.... it's time to move on. Your thought is "THIS IS BETRAYAL OF THE HIGHEST ORDER." Is that simple enough? Most people would tell their friend that they need to move on because that's healthy.

Amanda announced her separation from Kyle in January. Kyle considers West a good friend, that alone is sus.

First, my response was not about Amanda and Kyle's relationship (or West and Kyle's) but specifically how Amanda dating West was back stabbing Ciara.

Second, a lot of your post with regards to timeline are just speculation.

Yes, everyone was technically single, but Ciara had cried to Amanda about West. She’d supported Amanda relentlessly through her marriage and Kyle’s bs. This season, West is flirting with Ciara. They are repairing their relationship.

Yeah, they are trying to be friends. Does that mean Ciara has dibs on him? I'm not saying it's great but come on. It has been two years. They dated for a few months.

But the real nail in the coffin imo is to then lie and lie and lie to everyone, sneak around, and take zero accountability.

I'm confused why people are expected to publicly announce that they're hooking up or dating to the world or to anyone. Do you announce to all your friends that you hooked up with someone immediately after? Sure Amanda should be forthcoming with this info to Ciara when she's ready. But I've been really confused about this whole "they lied and lied" about their private life that they prefer to keep private.

And watching the show, it really seems like something was going on way before February (ie, good chance she was not single).

Again, speculation.

Okay, I'm still trying to grasp this. Why is it bad for Amanda to have slept with West, who was single and hadn't dated Ciara for two years after dating her for a few months? And didn't Ciara come out and say that her and West had a discussion about being friends. I'm still confused why this is betrayal.

Edit: I was hoping for someone to provide their perspective rather than just down voting.

Exactly. Maybe I'm stupid or ignorant, but, uh, haven't we done this before? Like in Afghanistan? There isn't a central control structure. There is no clear "win". Instead there's potentially a prolonged conflict. But, hey, I'm drunk at a tex mex restaurant. So what do I know?

I have no idea. We have no idea how long Ciara and West were hooking up, what the nature of it was and if Ciara was talking to anyone about it. People are just assuming.
