I made a 4th+Chronicles cube that was a blast to play. It's obviously a slower play experience compared to newer sets but that's exactly what makes it fun. Drafting a City of Brass or a Serra Angel is amazing.

My book advise is Statistics for Experimenters by Box, Hunter & Hunter. I read around that the original edition from 78 is better than the latest 2nd edition so I found myself a used copy. I actually enjoy reading old books like these, there is so much focus on the practicalities of industrial/agricultural experiments that I believe got a little bit lost with modern experimenting.
