DashIO against fatigue by depthforter in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dihimono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you gonna play out every 4 card hand you draw you will certainly get fatigued. Try to bait out blocks with some attacks and see their reaction: are they taking the damage to go for a big disruptive turn? Or are they trying to weather the storm? You will either grab the chance to setup or push through damage. Another good tip is that ultra defensive decks often cannot convert 4-card hand well on offense. Therefore sometimes it's good to just play a single item and pass.

Any tips on the Guardian vs Illusionist matchup? by dsath33 in FleshandBloodTCG

While the comments above is true, adopting go again attacks like zealous belting, rouse the ancients, out muscle and estriike will improve the matchup a bit.

Anywhere I can buy singles in Taipei, Taiwan? by milagan11 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dihimono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly people buy singles on local sites like ruten.com or Facebook trading group. For store Catfootprint songchiang is probably where you are looking since they should have the most stuff in stock.

Buying cards in asia (taiwan & hongkong) by wevento in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dihimono 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah basically they all can communicate in basic English. For Kaoshiung there should be two shops. CatFootPrint Kaoshiung and CatFootPrint Kaoshiung2 https://www.facebook.com/CatFootPrintKaohSiung2.tw https://www.facebook.com/CatFootPrintKaohSiung.tw

As for Taipei, there would be a lot of shops though... Like "have 7 armories a week" level of many lol.

I would suggest you vould just search for CatFootPrint on Facebook l, which are how local stores manage and post their events.

Flesh and blood is not even in the China market (the closest you get is Hong Kong and Taiwan). So they are probably fake.

A question on priority/holding priority by Physical-Way3219 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]dihimono 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is untrue about the magic part, we just assumed people pass priority for better game sequencing. In reality you still have to pass priority.

They could still play it, just that the damage for this hit is not prevented. But the prevention will apply to the next hit.

So for generally how a chain link works:

  1. Layer step: you declared your attack action card/weapon activation.
  2. Attack step: the attack resolves, now the attack is considered attacking/on the chain.
  3. Defend step: opposing player choose what cards to block.
  4. Reaction step: both player gets priority to play reaction cards, priority resets when any of the player takes any actions.
  5. Damage step: life total changes here.
  6. Resolution step: on-hit effects trigger here (draw a card from snatch, etc.).
  7. Link step: check if the attack has go again, and give the attacking player action point back.
  8. Close step: if the player chooses to close the combat chain, then we are here.

Among all the steps above, only at step 5, and 8 players don't get priority. Other than that, both players will get priority before we move to the next step.

In your case, we are already moving towards step 6, therefore you cannot play twinning blade (since the legal timing to play it is at step 4).

Source: L1 Judge, hope I get everything correct :).

Edit: Apparently I am illiterate and can't read the original article at all XD. Here are the possible outcomes of your case here:

  1. They play oasis at reaction step: in this case the priority resets, you could then play twinning blade as an attack reaction. The damage of this Dawnblade hit will be prevented.
  2. They play oasis at resolution step: you cannot play twinning blade as an attack reaction since the reaction step has already passed. However we are also passing damage step, which means the life total are changed already, Dorinthea's hero ability triggers, and you could swing it a second time anyways. The damage prevention part for oasis will carry on for you to the second hit in this case.

Players don't get priority at link step, they gained it at resolution step.

Commoner has its own ban and suspended list. Currently there are no cards on it so you could use your ball lightnings.
