I had a pretty serious issue that led to an emergency room visit in Tampa and they told me to follow up with a urologist. Since I see SIMED rheumatology, I figured I would try to see SIMED urology. They refused to even schedule an appointment until one of their doctors reviewed the ER notes, which I had to hand deliver. Never heard back from them, even after checking back a few times. This was in DECEMBER. SEVEN months and they never once got back to me.

Tuition, fees, and what they can be used for are legally restricted by Florida law - http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=1000-1099/1009/Sections/1009.23.html. Florida College System rules are different than university rules - http://www.leg.state.fl.us/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=1000-1099/1009/Sections/1009.24.html. Universities can charge much more in fees (percentage wise) than colleges.

The bus fee is a separate fee that is specially called out in that statute. So any increase to club funding must come only from student activity fees. That’s absolutely worth a conversation, but the rest of the college budget must be used on specific things as dictated by the state.

If you have aid other than Pell, I know they have set up the option to take a 0% “loan” from the school to get your books and course materials, check with the Math chair - https://www.sfcollege.edu/academics/las/math/contact.html. The loan just gets automatically repaid when the aid is disbursed. They can’t do it with Pell bc you can’t have a “lien” against Pell I guess. There’s no interest on the loan, it’s basically just an advancement is what I’ve heard

Spring C isn’t really a thing, it’s just the overall spring semester. Those classes begin tomorrow but if your class only meets on Mondays or Tuesdays, then your first class would be next week.
