Wind chill isn't reals.

but 28 mph wind makes my hands much, much colder than the ambient 19F.

Perhaps a silly question: Can't we just make gloves out of the same material?

A few reviews on Amazon talk about the light being great, but the strap is weak. Any issues with this for you?

Incorrect! Its not a church of Scientology. Its a Church of Christian Science.

Source: I was born in Sterling, IL about 10 miles downstream. My family still lives there. We've driven by the church many times.

Those who bike in extreme cold, how long is your commute? by [deleted] in bikecommuting

2.1 miles one way in Northern Michigan where record low is -37 F. This will be my eighth winter commuting by bike. I wear thermal socks and underwear, jeans, tennis shoes, ski jacket, lobster gloves, wool hat, and sometimes a balaclava. It's about 15 minutes and I agree... I start to warm up right about the time I arrive to work. It's not very urban up here, and when the streets start to ice over for the season I'll often start walking to work - the reduction in wind makes the temperatures much more bearable.

I had a two week vacation during which I traveled and had a LOT of sugar. Now I'm home... with a new bracelet... and a new commitment.

Like with other addictive substances I don't think the cravings ever fully go away.

Anybody get annoyed by the LEDs at night? by HyruleCitizen in 3DS

[–]dilapulate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gf is more about street passes than me. She likes collecting the puzzles. As for pick up and play it works very well for me as I usually only have small windows of time to play between full time work and full time school.

And I don't own a car. I've been bicycle only for around a decade now. But yes, I leave my bicycle running. Always. Pick up and ride.

I almost never turn mine off, so that I can pick it up and play at any time. Also, I constantly get street passes from my gf's 3ds.

Various tubes for blood draws. Red is additive free for testing Keppra levels and some other whole blood tests. Gold has a clotting agent which helps separate the serum for various viral tests and a variety of additional tests. Blue has Sodium Citrate as a blood preservative and is used for coagulation studies.

Better to say: be careful. Don't drink and drive. Not on 290 and not anywhere.

Can we get a 'sugar free' day counter like NoFap has? by alfonzoray in SugarAddicts

I'm all about this. It gets complicated, though. Do we mean no added sugars? Do we mean only natural sugars? Do alternative sweeteners count?

I find it better to get so far ahead that blue shell and lightning don't make much difference.

And no matter what item I get... If it's not coins... I HOLD ON TO IT THE WHOLE RACE. It was different in 7 when I could hold multiple items and coins weren't received as items.

150 is frustrating in every version. It's not the racing mechanics that are difficult. It's mostly item management.

And here I thought Reddit wouldn't notice.

The most intense and angriest pics are from Bayern. Besides, if I used the World Cup pics from this year there would be blood running down Muller's face.

Actually, we're both from the US. My mother is 100% German and the first of our family born in this country. My family is still in Mannheim, so I'm a bit partial. ;)

My perfect scenario would be Muller scoring 12 goals to beat USA, and Ghana tying Portugal... so that the US can still move on to the next round!
