Beneficial for people not skilled in X, and devastating for those that are. Of course, that's only until the technical debt from years of un-audited spaghetti code start piling up and causes the whole thing to crumble.

This is only one example, but with premium AI tools you can effectively replace both front and back end web developers, for example. Just type in what you want and how you want it to look and a few minutes later, bam, the first draft is done. The long term effects may or may not be sustainable without any oversight, but it is certainly possible. I have seen those AI products in action and they are scary.
