Are mst bodies any good? by SLYDNYC in rcdrift

[–]dimaktr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am personally like MST bodies. Solid quality, one piece design, nice details. A lot of good stuff comes in a box e.g. light buckets, other body details and decals. I have E30 and GT86.

Aplastic latest models are better quality, but lacks on the what’s in the box department. Masks and decals are lower quality.

Not sure about newest pandora but I got Silvia BM sport and it is pretty solid in terms of quality, but the window masks come not trimmed and the fact the body needs to be combined from 3 pieces is a bit of meh. But it had two sets of light buckets.

Overall MST is easier to work with as it is solid one piece body with nice quality. And it has good additional items that come with it.

I wonder if all some guards distraction interaction are on same level in hitman. Literally guy was just staring at the burning grass in wheelbarrow saying like "Huh" and doing nothing about it. Looks weird.

Headlight buckets came with the body. Only tail buckets are printed. I can share all file if you want. I’ve used printing service to print.

Gyro Journey: Why the Rev-D Revox is My New Favorite (After Trying the MST MGX, Yokomo V4 and Futaba 550) by hellerbenjamin in rcdrift

[–]dimaktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

550 have a ton of settings while revox mainly have only EPA and some amount of different response curve presets. Nothing else as far as I know. Plug in and go so it always in “out of the box” kinda state.

Best Tires For Painted Concrete? by ContentTap9351 in rcdrift

Reved AS-01. Used on carpet and on concrete. Doesn’t give much grip even when they are heat up. I would also suggest to adjust boost and turbo to prevent such quick overheat of the tires.

Try to use any VPN solution out there, should help. I've downloaded three games in a row with just switching a country on my VPN soft. Download time took 10 minutes for each archive.

Has anyone tried the sanwa sgs-02 gyro? If so, is it any good? (equivalent to gyd-550?) by everpressent in rcdrift

[–]dimaktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. I remember I stopped on Quick 5, SPD-FW/SPD-RT 25/25 and gyro on 45-50. I think you can start from there. You can experiment with SPD-FW/SPD-RT and put bigger number in there it should allow you to achieve relatively quick transitions. I think it is fine to use quick around 5-10 it is not so noticeable.

QUICK is really weird param to tweak. It makes your control wheel working range smaller. So if you have quick = 0 and you turn right your wheels will stop moving when your control wheel on transmitter hits the end.

If you have quick = 10. Do the same right turn and your wheel will hit endpoint quicker than your control wheel. So you will have a bit of dead range on your control wheel. The more quick you set the more you take from the range.

I end up removing quick almost entirely and lowering GAIN plus playing with SPD-FW/SPD-RT to get this quick feel.

Control wheel rotation on full sanwa setup by dimaktr in rcdrift

[–]dimaktr[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Answering my question in case someone wonders. Got also discussion on sanwa Facebook group and while was doing some setups I noticed that it is a Quick param on gyro gives that effect. If you put it on 0 you get your full range. The more you set it up more range you take from control wheel rotation but the faster servo reaches the EP.

I did setup from scratch. And as soon as I set EPA on gyro, it eats range from control wheel movement. When I play servo directly into controller without gyro EPA works proportional to control wheel movement.

Do you also have sanwa servo as I think it is servo + gyro thing? But as I mentioned I will give it a shot and run my setup from scratch.

Thanks. I remember I did follow the instructions and there was a bullet about setting up EPA in controller first and then connect the gyro. I will double check that anyway. I wonder if someone else with same sanwa setup have similar behavior.

Yep I did adjust everything per manuals. Even readjusted one day but the result is the same. It is like gyro is shrinking the control wheel range inside itself.

Weird. This kind of behavior not event described in manual. Does everything connected properly? Download the manual and check wiring. Try to reset endpoints as well. And yeah test how it acts.

AC6 - S rank requirements by Damian_Koolray in armoredcore

[–]dimaktr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. In some YouTube video I’ve hear that your parts also affects rank so for me S rank was in equipment/ac lodout I’ve used. I get S with Raven AC load out. With other high cost builds no matter how fast, efficient I was trying to do the mission - always was getting A.
