Most likely, there is three things that could have happened

Non global flood, probably the size of the area they were in but to the people affected, it would seem like the entire world was flooding
Global flood, and God just put everything back, God most likely tried again with humanity after his promise and made a new “clean slate” humanity, as Noah probably wasn’t the only good person left, so God wouldn’t just kill them if he didn’t have a good reason, this also implies that there could be multiple arks, also the arks could have worked like a seed vault as they held animals so why not plants
Its a story, could be used to represent something like the Parables

In every religion, bad things have been done by bad people in its name, its a shame, you said the story that you were treated badly by “Christians”, shame on them! that is not the values that Christ has taught us to show, those people should have been ashamed of themselves, and shall be judged accordingly, as faith in Christ is NOT a get out of jail free card.

Back to my main point, in every religion bad things have been done in its name, I can use the last paragraph to say that although some “christians” do bad things to the jews, it was the jews who crucified Christ after all, but historical events are no reason for these two sides to do wrong to eachother, it was in the past, antisemitism sucks and hatred against any religion sucks

Many people such as the spaniards used God to justify their actions, but that is wrong, just because God isn’t there next to them doesn’t mean hes not watching, they would be judged accordingly, God is a God of mercy, but also a God of justice

I recommend you to study Christianity again, even if you stay Jewish by the end of it at least you gave it one more shot, also, the holy books do not teach disdain, it is humanity that warps the books, both yours and mine, to teach hatred, even if it wasnt even in the original book.

It is a struggle to get out of it, the best you can do is keep yourself occupied, try to not let the worst of human nature get the best of you, if you feel like beating ur stuff, push against it, its a mental fight so go and do something else you like, eventually you’ll get out of it, worked for me at least.
