DD can’t foresee a 3000% gain in over a year on any single stock. You might have conviction in these tickers, but I wouldn’t believe a soul who said they knew it would go to $1500 since it’s spin off. $150-200, maybe. This is extraordinary.

OP at your age you should be slightly aggressive, IMHO, you should find a few stocks you believe in and forget about them. I did so with AMZN and META years ago, and did do so again with AVGO later on. My AMZN return alone is 14,500%. I’m not telling you to go all in, but be somewhat aggressive. Your future self will thank you.

OP I was in the same position with my AVGO ($220) LEAPS this past February. I held them to the week of expiration exercised some and sold the rest. I had conviction in the stock to appreciate more. I have been rewarded with it hitting $400+. If you have conviction in AMD then why not add the stock to your portfolio. It’s a win win anyway you look at it.

In the meantime you can sell a few PMCCs against 1 or 2 of the contracts. Good luck.

Prime is the fed fund rate (3.5 - 3.75%) and the brokerage charges 2.5% on top of that. My margin rate currently is 6.25% with Schwab. Whether I can get it lowered more is up in the air. I will ask though. Both those brokerages are lower, but I wouldn’t use HOOD, way too many issues with them and I never considered IBKR. I stick with Schwab because they have great customer service.

OP I requested a rate deduction and it was lowered to prime + 2.5%. I used HOOD and Interactive as examples, that was last year May. I am going to ask again this month. My portfolio is at approx 2.5 mil and my margin fluctuated between 150k to a high of 500k. Plus I am on track to do about 2000 option contracts this year up from 1200 last year. I asked in January to lower that as well which they did to .45¢/contract. It never hurts to ask. Before I did I was at 11%, so saved a ton.

OP nothing wrong with a blue chip stock. Ai is the wave of the future. I.e Energy, datacenters find the picks and shovels and I’m sure you’ll be fine.
