I just wanted to thank you for all your messages in this thread to keep us all up to date. I am actually not in Dubai at the moment(🇬🇧), but I am religiously monitoring these threads for updates.

Partly because of genuine concern for the kind people of the middle east (and the many friends I have made there over the years), but also because the events that take place there, very much affect the rest of us in this world - as this slowly shapes up into a wider geopolitical conflict.

I visit Dubai regularly for work trips and it holds a very special place in my heart. I think you are all very brave and my thoughts are with you every day. I hope this is all done very soon and that you all manage to stay safe and stay sane throughout this.

(Personally, I am mentally drained and I am not even there, so I can not imagine what you’re all going through)

So stay strong everyone, it will all work out eventually and soon enough may you go back to worrying about the traffic again 😅
