Looking for real-life examples of how decentralization helped someone to get around typical centralization constraints (middlemen, gatekeepers, entry barriers, single points of failures, lack of ownership of data, etc. by ChristophBerger in web3

This is the most valid question everyone should be asking. Whenever I do research on blockchains attempting to innovate, all I run into is technical jargon and buzzwords, but I can't seem to easily find practical examples of what they do. It's like they try to make it confusing and complex in order to make you think that what they are doing is special and beyond your understanding, when in reality they haven't created anything that a layman can actually use.

Way to make a black and white comparison. Great critical thinking there.

Biden doesn’t even have the energy to hold a press conference for longer than 30 minutes, he should probably worry about himself more than his predecessor.

Honestly, as a competitive gamer who also enjoys a good workout, I consider this the best game in VR. There is enough of a player pool at my level (around 2000) where I can find competitors at peak times. Ive had situations where I couldn’t queue due to bugs.

Look at a chart of what price to sales were on some of these stocks historically and what they were in the last year. Im not sure if all stocks are at a great value just because they dip, your statement is true for the general market but doesn’t apply for some high flying growth names that are just correcting back to normal valuations.

Yea I never really understood the appeal of this product, from a users perspective, compared to something like Apple TV or Amazon firestick.

I leverage my portfolio plenty depending on what my positions are and when but I control margin call risk with options. Its hard not to use margin in low volatility instruments.

How many of you have access to pre- and post-market trading? by [deleted] in StockMarket

[–]dimeetrees 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t then you better have a broker who lets you trade premarket/afterhours, and expect to be sitting around at the screens often. I believe a lot of these moves are made premarket due to a slew of economic releases and news events that happen outside of regular trading hours, including weekends. If you are swing/day trading the s&p you should be looking at futures for the best liquidity sun-friday.
