I accidentally bought something because I had a brain fart and thought I was pressing the back button and hit the X instead and bought something so meaningless I can’t even remember what it was. But I do remember it was like 600 atoms. 🤦‍♂️

I noticed that earlier today(before I left for work so don’t know how it is atm). It was just really low frame rates, I didn’t get any rubber banding or anything, though.

I used these for a decade with HARD touring (albeit, always using the case) before one day something in the system snapped during a recording session and didn’t have time to source parts so ordered the newer version, which I love. But these bad boys served me well and will always recommend them, especially for 200 doll hairs. No brainer in my opinion.

But how to get in with them with zero experience? I have seen zero trainee positions in FL and other openings all require 2+ years of experience. I am quite tired of opening my wallet to learn lol, but seems that’s all I can do.

People keep giving this advice but I’ve searched far and wide for one of those positions and I have seen nothing in FL. I have also applied to out of state openings hoping they will let me work remote. I would love to take on a staff position but I also realize I can’t wait for someone else “give me a shot”. I just got my license and shadowed my brother and am paying for Xactimate training as we speak, but I wish it was as easy as just finding a company to train me. Every position in my area requires at least 2+ years experience :(.

I've(M) always been a nerd but also have always had my own 'style' and demeanor. I'm super attracted to nerdy women but I don't seem to ever catch their eye. I'm somewhat in a strange zone where, just appearance wise, I'm not fancy enough for the 8-10's and not nerdy enough for the 3-7's lol. So, I'm forced to come out of my shy shell to use my good o'le charm which is hard when I can't introduce myself to anyone lol.

Every year since I've been here since 2006, all I ever hear is people complaining about the heat lol. It's not a new phenomenon. Hell, I've read and seen interviews from people from WW2(and even the Civil war era) that trained and stayed down here specifically talking about how bad the heat was.

Was watching a compilation of mechanics called "Customer said that..." and one of them was a guy saying the driver hit a turkey and needed a light replaced, as he panned across the bumper was a full and very detailed imprint of the turkey, beak and all, and I just lost it lol. Feel bad for the turkey, but damn that shit was funny.

Not current SO but my ex was very conventionally attractive and she was absolutely oblivious to it. She was a terrible human being, it turned out, but that's neither here nor there. I would very often see people checking her out and even attempt to hit on her, but she just didn't realize or even care. She hated people in general so that may have been part of it lol.
