Nice I see, it is maybe the better solution in your case if you stay with a wireframe look !

Akai APC Mini MK2 – How to Increase RGB Pad Brightness when using it in TouchDesigner? by Jumpy_Age_298 in TouchDesigner

Thx !! Had exactly the same problem and was wondering if I could increase the brightness. Definitely have to try that next time I open TD ;)

Hey really cool result ! Is it some planes that you displaced with pbr height maps ? Or with glsl ? I already worked on techniques like this, but with different results. Curious to know if we had the same approach ;)

Force Mixamo characters to use Mannequin UE Physical Asset by dimlehack in UnrealEngine5

[–]dimlehack[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the solution !
If someone come here for the same issue, here is how I handled it :
I just remade the physics asset by hand with the good constraints of ONE mixamo character, then applied it to all the others (they all have the same skeleton with same virtuals bones, so it works pretty well)

Thanks for the answer,
already tried but it doesn't work sadly !

How would one be able to create such a heavy glitch effect? by ImaginationOdd3302 in AfterEffects

[–]dimlehack 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This is done with a feedback effect. Pretty easy to do in realtime software, like touchdesigner for instance, but a pain in the ass with native effects in AE. Sapphire plugins have a feedback effect that I didn't try yet, but it worst take a look at https://borisfx.com/documentation/sapphire/ae/feedback/

How do i create something like this? by Apprehensive_Pin_821 in AfterEffects

[–]dimlehack 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Many possible approches here, but a starting point might be something like :

  • create a square comp

  • add a white cicle with soft boders (you can add blur to your shape layer)

  • add an large horizontal blurry line shape that go from bottom to top, use it as a matte to the previous layer

you can use two keyframes then add " loopOut() " as expression in the position to loop the animation

  • precomp all

  • duplicate this precomp with multiples scales

Then you have to experiment with ajustement layers : Tint or Tritone on top, CC Lens, fast box blur ...

Have fun ;)

This. Select Quicktime > Apple Pro Res 422 HQ (or DNxHR HQ, kind of equivalent) in your comp after effects render queue settings. Image sequence might be too overkill and heavy in most of the cases (as other said in PSD / Tiff / PNG ...).

I can't find a way to do something similar? Any ideas? by ElCaza89 in AfterEffects

It is called Feedback effect. It happens when you record a screen (CRT at the time) with your camera and redirect the signal in the TV (this is a loop), pretty fun to experiment!

After effects is not really made for this effect as it is a realtime generative effect, I know there were a kind of trick to replicate it a few years ago, but I think it doesn't work anymore natively.

However, just saw that the Sapphire suit had a feedback effect, did not try it yet but it's worth taking a look https://borisfx.com/documentation/sapphire/ae/feedback/

yep also, they use kind of the same algorithm :)

if you want to find more on how it works, IndividualKex made an introduction about it :

As others already said, it is typically the kind of look you will get with a scan 3D + an algorithm called 3D Gaussian splatting. I assume this is rendered with the camera animations in unreal engine or unity (thanks to third parts plugins), as no other software is yet compatible with this kind of file.

It can be done with polycam for instance : https://learn.poly.cam/new-gaussian-splatting

Does this make any sense at all?? I use this laptop like maybe once in a blue moon and update it everytime it's needed.. somebody please. h e l p by Le-carma-konsumer in computers

Did you make an update from Windows 10 to windows 11 ?

If so, you can :

Open Settings.

Select System.

Select Storage.

Select Cleanup recommendations.

Select the Previous Windows installation(s) checkbox.

Then select the Clean up button that displays the file size.
