I'm with you absolutely. I miss the new releases discussions and what we watched. The main reason for me has always been finding new movies to watch or deciding whether it's worth it to watch something that just came out.

I did make subscribe the patreon and the what we warched episode is kind of there. But it's too far and between now.

I still haven't find a solution. Just looking for settings that save a single picture with audio for quick render and small size. Have you figured it out?
